I am so glad that they incorporated "He Lives in You" into the 30th Anniversary Celebration! One of the most powerful songs in Disney history!

Actually it came from the lion king 2 simbas pride movie long before the stage show existed

@@doyouhearthepeoplesing2 Actually Simba’s Pride was released in 1998 and the musical opened on Broadway in 1997 the song actually predates both Simba’s Pride and the musical it originally appeared on an album called Rhythm of the Pride Lands which was an album of music inspired by the original 1994 movie the album was released in 1995

He lives in you was written for The Lion King but was ultimately cut and then brought back in Simba's pride which is why it's in the Broadway musical and here for the 30th anniversary

@@allenyork3239 Aww so that's why it was in Rhythm of the Pride Lands (I had that tape and loved it!) I wonder what scene it was suppose to be in? Maybe when Rafiki speaks to Simba like in the show.
