Coach Prime is intentional in what he said. He’s aware no one would raise their hand but they may seek the resources and advocates within the CU Program Now instead of waiting.. It starts with the individual reaching out. I bet you the ones who need to will reach out privately after this meeting. Director of Player personnel was in the meeting.. Some of you still question Coach Prime’s integrity and wisdom . He raised 5 well adjusted kids and is a quasi parent to those players. He’s in tune with knows how they think, so This was a kick in the pants for any of the players who needed the push!💪🏾💪🏾😂😂 #CoachPrime #SOBUFFS 🎉🎉🎉

@@grandjoy12 No ethically you can't ask a college student or a student in general to come forward among ppl to discuss or request mental health services... the original commentor is correct but you all are so swayed by what you think is right instead of considering PII, HIPAA, and university policies, and liabilities ... it becomes a liability when you ask students about their mental health in front of their peers... The average person dealing with MH in their demographic is not going to raise their hand and say I need help... it's a reason why he said it in front of the group... clearly, he is aware someone has an issue.

@@ericauntraveled8389You'll can't just make up stuff and run with it because of what you have heard. It is HIPAA not HIPPA, so that alone tells me that you don't know. And HIPAA concerns the information of the person that a doctor, nurse, health insurance personnel, etc. has on the patient that they should not release without prior authorization. Coach Prime opened up the forum to allow a player to speak freely if they wish. He did not make it mandatory, nor did he speak on a specific person having issues. And he may not be aware of someone experiencing anything specifically. I believe that it is Mental Health Awareness Day. And if he is aware of someone, he may have wanted to bring it up so others can feel free to discuss it if need be. And maybe some have done so in the past.

Also please do not tell them that mental health comes and goes depending on how they feel. Please get an expert to talk to those guys. I love you and I support you but you are 100% wrong in how you addressed those guys today about mental health. I beg you do not put those guys in that situation because you will officially see them turn against you. And yes I have degeees and certifications in mental and behavioral health.

Coach has opened up to the team about his own mental health issues.People kill themselves everyday from keeping their mental health issues to themselves .Because they can't carry the the burden alone.Yet they feel like they can't open up to anyone about it.

@@melissaporter5928agree but it should not have been asked for them to do it in a public forum and he should never have told them that he disapprove of them going in and out of their mental health that was crazy

Life is not learned in books and earned certification. Wisdom can't thrive where there is ego and judgment. God's way is not man's way. God gives a message to those open to receiving and coveying it without fear of negative energy to the message. Keep the main thing, the main thing. Someone needed to hear that message. Someone's mental burdens may have be readjusted by the strength of another person's testimony. You can look outward for a solution that lives inward. If it ain't for you, move along. For anyone who needed it the motivation to set aside ego and get help go with God. Everybody has an opinion about things that don't involve them. Prime's intent is not to harm but to make it ok to admit that they need a little extra care. Allow them that and move where you're led.

@@Dana-xz5nbO guess you are one of them that has that stigma eh? MH has now become an open topic. Your comment proves that you do NOT know what MH is and I suggest you start doing a little research before critiquing a person who has experienced it, dealt with it, lived with and come through of it.

I'm tired of these young men always talking and looking at each other's clothes like women. Too materialistic.

Materialism is a status symbol of success for young and adolescents and once they live long enough like us adults they will reevaluate their purpose and what success is to them, let these kids live and develop, We did…🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
