Thank you for posting this in the correct key! I don’t know if anybody else noticed it, but most of the He-Man episodes on here are slightly sped up. You can tell by the key of the music and the voices. I remember watching this when it first ran on syndicated TV.

TankzOnline: This. Exactly this. Even without the "HE-MAN!" vocals - hell, especially without them! - this is a finely layered, majestic, heroic and dramatic theme. Much, much more mature than you'd expect from a 1983 kids show based on a toy. It's pretty much Shuki's finest work, and that's saying a lot. Even considering it's a kids show, He-Man is alarmingly good. The atmosphere and character designs are very strong, the music is evocative and amazing, and the voice acting, though not to the standards of a Batman: TAS, is pretty good.

Sextus70 Agree about TV shows but movie and game soundtracks I listen too are all pretty good these days. Hans Zimmer, Thomas Newman, James Horner, John Williams etc. Games like far cry 3 and Assassins Creed Black Flag (scored by Brian Tyler) were excellent.

I’ve had this theme stuck in my head and all I can hear in my head is Adam saying “By the power of Grayskull…I HAVE THE POWER!!” Lol 😂. I’m a kid who didn’t even grow up with the 2002 version but I watched a lot of the original 83 version on DVD sets and it’s still awesome 😎. Yeah some episodes are a bit goofy and sometimes Skeletor can be a bit of a bafoon but it’s still a cool show to watch and I love the fact at the end of the episodes the characters tell you the moral of the story. The music 🎶 is funky and actually fills you with a sense of hope and makes you believe in yourself xx

I love it! And it's at the original pitch level. I have perfect pitch and the re-realeased DVD version from the late 2000's are 4% faster than when they originally aired. Had something to do with the conversions. I hate hearing Adam and He-Man with higher voices! Drives me crazy! Anyway, my ear thanks you for the original version in the pitch level it was meant to be heard!
