Michael Parker Incidentally, when I first saw Angelina Jolie, I immediately knew she would make a great Maleficent... but I also saw her in the role of The Sorceress, or possibly Evil Lynn if she could pull it off. Mila Jovovich, has been in so many action movies, she is the seasoned veteran that could fill Tila's role, and give the character a much-needed edge. Skeletor should have a more menacing and calculating personality. The actor who played Jonathan Crane in either Gotham or the Dark Knight franchise would work. Man-At-Arms would be a tough one to cast, since he would need Tom Seleck features, but the athletic energy of Keanu Reaves.
@michaelparker24498 жыл бұрын
Floymin I'm thinking Liam Neeson for Man-At-Arms and for Skeletor Frank Langella did such a good job in the original MOTU movie that he could do it again.

The music really does add in to get you extra hype! I think that's why the new She-Ra transformation sequence didn't do it for me. The music was very...generic magical girl. It couldn't compare to her 80s bass line and trumpets.

@@unigenius Well that and the fact that isn't the new She-Ra a guy dressed up like a girl (or to be fair am I thinking of another series/incarnation of it)? That right there would be enough to ruin the story for me - She-Ra being female and all.

Getting a glimpse of the magic of Grayskull rising up to grant Adam his powers is pretty epic. And to think, Teela witnessed a side of the transformation that no one else ever sees and didn't even know it. (Also, protecting the little alien pet even as she's in danger? It just makes her character even better).

@gutz19819 жыл бұрын
I'll put this in dramatic terms. Adam holds up his sword. Before he can say the magic chant, the ground of Grayskull begins to shake as if with anticipation of the pure energy that is about to be released from its core. Adam says the words to send a request. The heart of Graskull answers and sends him an unlimited supply of power that his sword conducts and passes through young Adam, transforming him into a being of pure immense power known as 'He-Man'.

Beyond the alternate view point, and the spectacular art work, I think one thing that makes this one so special is because for once Adam was not racing to kick a bad guy's butt or stop a disaster. Adam was becoming He-Man to rescue Teela nothing more and nothing less. Yet, he seemed more intent on completing this mission than any other we had ever seen him confront. In addition, the contract of Teela being afraid even though we all knew the energy she saw was actually her salvation. It just made for a spectacular scene.
@BigDsbrush3 жыл бұрын

I know right,keeping He-mans secret from Teela makes complete sense. I mean it’s not like she is his childhood friend and captain of the guard and regularly accompanies He-man on missions and regularly deals with Skeletor’s schemes or anything like that. If she knew his secret she’d be in danger from Skeletor. Next you’ll be telling me that Man-at-arms and the Queen and the Sorceress and Cringer and Orko know that Adam is He-man.

The reason why Castle Greyskull was so powerful was because it was built on the spot where the very center of the Universe is located. This also makes it a crossroad to many dimensions. My favorite transformation by far. And i couldn't agree more the voice actors definitely were gifted and the emotional depth they gave the characters helped make this one of the best cartoons ever created. I actually have the transformation as my ringtone! Lol😉😊
