There are several things I truly appreciate about your reactions. The first is your attention to detail. You catch the fine details of instrumentals, you point out themes of the songs, and you always notice the passion of the artist. The second is you appreciate the creation of artists whether or not you like the song as a whole. You always manage to find something positive in works that's aren't to your taste. But the best thing is your authenticity. You truly give every song a chance and listen to every beat switch, flow switch, rhyme scheme even if the song isn't your style. You give genuine reactions and nothing comes off as fake for the sake of views. You lose yourself in the music and it's great to see how it impacts you. Keep doing what you do bro.

I had commented earlier on a previous video about this guys intensity and how in that song i commented on, the speed of his lyrics felt over worked. This song however is a really great example of how to use speed and intensity to tell a great story. Why is it different in this song as opposed to Let You Down? Because this song, when it was being written, was meant to inspire himself and intensity brings motivation. Great song.
@JAGScar243 ай бұрын
If you want a look into the mind of NF and why he write the way he does then these are the 4 songs that you start with: "Mansion", "How Could You Leave Us", "Let You Down", and "Nate". In that order. Listening to the songs labeled "Intro" is recommended too.

NF is a complicated person and he can paint a picture with his words. He's a story teller and also seems to have this grasp on psychology and shares his deepest thoughts and feelings in such a way that you feel like he's exposing your thoughts and feelings. And it's beautiful because he also has this gift for making you realize you are not alone in that headspace. I grew up with trauma and I also lost my mom to addiction, I have never heard an artist expose my inner world like Nate has. And it honestly helped me to heal some. Just knowing others feel like you is such a huge thing. I know my story is not unique when it comes to NF fans. I'm so happy to see you appreciate him for his uniqueness.

Nate is a beautiful person with an amazing gift from God. Just him in a room with a microphone and he doesn't need anything else. That's how powerful this song is. His passion and emotion are raw. Definitely one of my favorite NF tracks. I too, lost my mother from a prescription overdose. But it wasn't the most painful experience I've had. The most painful experience for me was telling my seven year old daughter that her grandmother died. There is no love greater than the love you have for your child. So when they experience pain and loss, you feel that. A hundredfold.

Oh boy here we go on the journey, im already tearing up knowing whats coming. Yes, Nate sadly lost his mother to a pill addiction that ultimatley took her life. He has two songs about it. "How could you leave us" and "Mama" if you follow the journey you will hear both While i would agree compared to his newer stuff some of his older stuff is lower quality this song is not one of those. This is a great song to start on. Follow the journey, theres plenty of lists out there. And if i may be so bold, if you get sick to your stomach thinking about losing your moms at 23...grab some tissues for "How could you leave us" I've heard that song more then i care to count from watching other reactors and i break down every single time. Its like hearing it for the first time all over again. Its a no joke song. He doesn't pull punches. Welcome to the NF family Verticile, I love that you got why we fans love this man so much. His music is vulnerable, relateable for some of us, a way to heal. You're gonna love this journey
