HE PAINTED HIS NEW CAR!?

So as we all know Big Boy got a new car. If you are new to the channel about a week ago Big Boy purchased a 96 s14 with an RB25 motor in it. The car is an awesome car but the body was a little ruff. When I say a little I mean a lot, mainly because there was no paint on the car. So Big Boy teamed up with dip one to give the s14 a face lift. Lets just day this drift car just became a step closer to a finished car and it looks amazing. As always I hope you guys enjoyed this one remember to subscribe and peace!

Sky Del S14 is just the generation name. In North America it's called a 240sx, in Europe it's called a 200sx. They both look the same though, so people refer to them as S14s, but the proper term for this is a 240sx, since the original engine was the KA24DE.

Silvia is the name it was sold under in Japan, S14 is the S-Chassis, and 240SX is the name it was sold under in the USDM. It was 180SX in the EUDM.

The panel gaps are pretty terrible on that front end conversion, but the AutoFlex looks great! I've been interested to see this stuff since hearing about it. Looks really good and a much better alternative than plastidip. Would a battery cut-off switch solve Big Boy's problem with having to unhook the battery? Paint the calipers while the wheels are off when you swap them, and pick up some Silvia Kouki tails, would look SO fresh!

yeah, those calipers being that colour is easy to mistake for rust. and i noticed those panel gaps too, its way too noticeable on the sides of bonnet/ hood

Big Boy! To solve your battery problem wire it to a switch! That way you can switch it off from inside the car and also have a little extra theft protection. Also saw your dash is cracked. Buy a 240sx dash cover they are cheap and look good.

you would need pretty thick high amp wires doing it that way though wouldnt you? best bet would be like you said a dash switch wired to a solenoid/ relay (via any thin or not wire) to enable battery. or could even be wired to ignition so battery gets enable/ disabled when you turn the key.... theres always an ignition wired for the stereo for eg, just a thin wire from that to the solenoid. i dont know much about these things though but i assume that would work perfect. should already have a few fuses heavy duty fuses too, but if not that would be needed. also, in hindsight im guessing this is pretty much what you meant...
