I'm glad she divorced the scumbag. Too bad about his mistress. I really loved the interaction between Henry and Emily. He was awesome throughout (a hottie for sure). Emily was a woman who knew what she wanted and reached out and grabbed it. She, however, wasn't sure about the relationship between her and Henry. Henry played her a little in the beginning but then fell hard for her. He also knew what he wanted and wasn't willing to give up and I respect him for that. I also respected Emily for being smart and capable. She did an awesome job of taking over the Liam Group.

Super story! Marvelous FL. Really loved how she planned and executed her exit from her marriage with Liam. He had no idea until their last conversation. She was "putting up" with it mainly to be certain the divorce would complete as agreed. A lot of assets were at stake. Also, she was getting ready to make a response when Henry beat her to it. Finally, she was pretty succinct in her response to Grace in the hallway. She's just more mature and comfortable with herself than the little baby Grace.

FL was so smart and decisive the only thing she hadn't made future plans for was Henry. I'm so glad she married him in the end. She didn't gjve up on love despite her ex, and I wish all these short stories gave all main characters a second chance at love just because the first person they loved did them wrong doesn't mean they can't find a better person to love, who will give them all the love they deserve.

I’m glad that her ex husband didn’t mistreat her for decades like other stories, she was treated well but then he started cheating. Cheating is horrible, but most of these stories have the FLs tortured for like 20 years and then wants to leave when they catch their cheating abuser in the act. It really seems that they don’t care about their own well being, until they find out their husbands are cheating 😅
