I swear, most people don't understand how hard the positions of CB/DB really are. Imagine trying to mirror someone's movements when you don't know what they're about to do. And not ONLY mirror them but also try to get to where they are going BEFORE they do. Then think about beginning each attempt to cover the other teams most elusive, quickest, and/or fastest players on the field by running backwards. Then having to turn around and run with them when they already have momentum going that way. Not to mention read-routes. CB requires WAAAAAAY more anticipation, intuition, and confidence than some people think. Most of the odds are against the CB/DB. A great corner really is talented.
