I don't remember if they said it in episode 2 of the subbed or if it was only in the manga and dubbed, but when they sent people out to "retake wall Maria" they sent out over 250,000 people, and only just over 100 people returned. Your reactions have been interesting so far and I can't wait to see how you'll react to some of the story's biggest plot twists.

It was mentioned on the sub too. But for some reason sub reactors mostly miss it. I've watched many sub reaction and overwhelming majority seems to miss it.

​@fxgamer4870 seems like it's hard to react and read subtitles thoroughly. I usually recommend to friends just getting into anime to watch dub (grave sin, i know). But it's much easier on them to be able to listen and observe, rather than have to split their attention between images and text. No point admiring the quality of the voice acting if you miss important info in the subtitles...

@@r5gvalencia i actually prefer dub of AOT than sub. I also watched dub first before I watched sub. There are many of us who do enjoy watching dubs and subs.

@@r5gvalencia but you can just go back and reread important info if they miss it. Sometimes dubs change whole dialogues, especially in aot where every single dialogue is important they tend to change whole sentences. And the voice acting in aot japanese is just too amazing and one of the best parts of the show imo

Norge! Only downside with watching this anime first is you'll just be dissapointed by most other anime tbh. There are some good ones but all in all, the story in AOT, the characters, the world, the art, the just insane writing that is so complete and almost 100% flawless is impossible to beat. Before the "uhm achtually AOT isnt even that good comments", yes it is. Its one of if not, THE best anime that has ever and will ever exist and thats not even my opinion thats just a fact so cope

Yeah if you go in expecting something similar to AoT you'll be disappointed. But there's many, many anime that offer something different and are just as great in their own way.

Don't write spoilers like that in the comments. Why do that? She's got 50+ episodes to go before she gets to what you're talking about. That's 75% of the way through the anime and you're in episode 2 hunting at something specific that happens on a specific episode. I know it's hard but you have to do better about this sort of stuff.
