A fun little attention to detail. When the guy interrupted the priestess it was after she said 8 divines. Naturally, he's upset because that's excluding the 9th divine, Talos, that the high elves banned the worship of and the empire enforced in public, causing a lot of unrest in the Nordic population of Skyrim as he's heavily revered here as a mortal who ascended to divinity. So he was just like "I'm not going to listen to this Empire priestess rite, so let's get this over with ."

The Skyrim spiders are, without a doubt, the most terrifying spiders in video games. Others have mentioned the mods that turn spiders into different animals, but if you don’t have access to mods, my best advice is to level up your stealth and archery, increase your Magicka, and get the “Detect Life” spell. Detect Life drains Magica like the basic Flames spell (instead of using up a set amount of Magicka after charging the spell) so you’ll need more than a little Magicka to cast the spell regularly. When you cast the spell, any living creatures (bandits, spiders, bears, rabbits, etc) will be outlined in red (and if I’m remembering correctly, you CAN see it through walls). Then you equip a bow, stealth for bonus damage, and kill the spiders at a distance in dungeons. If you encounter some in the wild, just run. Or you can purchase a horse at any stable (I don’t remember how much it costs, but it’s at least 500 I think). Horses can die if they take too much damage, but there is an immortal horse you’re given during one of the major side quests

Skyrim is the only game i have _ever_ pre-ordered, and even pre-paid for it because i didn't know if i'd have the money when it came out but had it to spare beforehand. Almost thirteen years later and i still have my original ps3 copy, and the receipt from when i pre-paid. For my money, peak-skyrim was the patch where all the dragons flew backward and you could never finish the quests involving dragons because they would never land!

My favorite builds were always the magicka based stuff. Like restoration, illusion,or destruction builds. But even with all that said, having an archery build that's utilizes stealth is incredibly satisfying and fun to play. 🏹✨️

There are mods for Zoro's, Mihawk's, and Arlong's swords if you have any interest in mixing your interests. Also Nami's outfit. Also in case you were wondering: Yes you can equip one of Zoro's swords in your mouth if you want to play as Zoro. It doesn't have an attack animation or anything but you get a different buff depending on which sword you put in your mouth. Also it's an old mod so don't expect to see Enma.

In the bear room of the tutorial since Hadvar doesnt get mad at you for attacking him you can crouch and backstab him to get level 100 stealth before leaving the cave. It's my favorite way to start a new run since I love playing thieves

I had a silmar experience w Fallout 3. As soon as I got out of the vault, I went to the mall or whatever it is that's nearby and got in a fight with the security robot. I shot it when it was inches from my face so I took a ton of damage to literally half my body when it exploded. I couldn't figure out how to heal so I was literally limping across the map trying to figure out how to heal until I eventually succumbed to my wounds.

This game holds such a special place in my heart. It was the first game I ever went to a midnight release for, when I was 14. It got me through middle school, high school, and gave me countless hours to escape in a fantasy world whilst my reality was gritty and constantly sucked. The world of this game is stellar, as is the lore and music and storytelling. Prepare for an experience you won't forget, I promise you.

My fav way of playing is thief/conjurer. Conjure something to fight the enemy while shooting arrows from afar. Also using the conjured bow. So much fun

Holding weapons does slow you down as opposed to sheathing it, I’d also argue argonians aren’t necessarily the best race in exchange for being discriminated against as that doesn’t really factor much into gameplay. All races have their pros and cons in terms of abilities but ultimately builds and stats can be built into anyone.

I never played skyrim when it was new on consoles but had dabbled in fallout during that time. In the last few years I finally discovered it and its one of my favorite titles of all time. The modding community has been a huge help in keeping this game alive all these years. I mod all my bethesda games since they are notoriously buggy and mods fix a lot of this, while overhauling the graphics and adding modern creature comforts like target locks, full 3d movement etc. I like to keep my mods Vanilla+ so that it still feels like Skyrim while being a much better experience than the original

There’s a reason I call that company BUGthesda! Also, if you’re looking for a new mod, I recommend Legacy of the Dragonborn. The main thing it does is add a museum that can hold unique objects from quests. It does a bunch of other things as well, so I’m not sure if it would be considered Vanilla+, but it’s worth looking in to!

I've played over a thousand hours of Skyrim on my Nintendo Switch through multiple characters after I bought and played it for the first time. It's still a great game to this day. I first got to try it on my friend's Xbox 360 and I was hooked. I loved Oblivion on PS3 back in the day so Skyrim was a game I always wanted to play when it came out. Just a couple of helpful tips. Quicksave often but do not under any circumstances quicksave in the middle of combat. Skyrim has a tendency to crash a lot randomly and you can lose your progress so easily so quicksave often. However do not quicksave while in combat because you can get locked into a death loop where you'll just die every time you load the save and unless you have a previous save to go back to you'll have to start all over again with a new save.

To finish all quest, check all locations but not read all text you need around 200-250 ours. Guys you mixing skyrim and oblivion. Runing and jumping give you nothing. You have 3 types of skills. Crafting skills that you developed by crafting certain stuff. Magic that you developed by using mana on certain skills(but for example if skill deal damage then it have to deal damage during exping). And fight skills you level one,two hand and bow by damage dealing, shields by blocking dmage, and armor by being harmed when you have on certain armor.

TBH Skyrim making so many NPCs immortal is a design decision I've never liked. At least in Oblivion they were less liberal about applying it and it was because Martin Septim could wander off and get mauled by a bear otherwise.

If you’re looking for entertaining Skyrim videos, I recommend “Skyrim Randomness” it’s not a playthrough, it uses a lot of mods, and the first couple of videos have subtitles because the guy playing didn’t have a microphone at that point, but it is CHAOTIC

I should go through this game at least once w/o exploiting any glitches for easy stuff but it's hard to resist. The second cat i had, who passed away in 2022, i picked up on 10/11/12 though he was already around 2 years when i got him so 10 more years was nice but he went too soon and i was devastated when it happened.
