He REFUSED to let me WORK for FREE! - Satisfying yard transformation.

Hello everyone,
Happy new year 🎉.
This property is owned by a very good and close family friend of ours. He is a gentleman in his late 80's living on his own and only a week ago suffered an injury which hasn't left him in the best of health.
I thought to myself the least I could do for him is to give his yard a tidy.
When the job was completed and I knocked on the door I told him I am happy to not charge him and he can consider it as a belated Christmas gift. He basically refused this offer and said he truly appreciates my work and is very grateful. As we were talking I could hear the happiness in his voice and it seems the clean up had left a bit of a pep in his step. I thought to myself, this is what it's all about, helping the people important to you.
I would love your feedback on this video, let me know if this is the kind of job you would like to see more of rather than just overgrown lawns.

Lovely job, yes I watch George and Sean. Between Lawn cutting and full garden clean ups, I prefer the clean ups. You are one of my favourites. If it takes time to get where George and Sean are at, so be it. You can only do what you can do. The big similarities between the three of you are, how detailed you all are in your garden work, which is one of the things I really like. Keep doing what you're doing, it's great.

Beautiful clean up Ryan! I love when the garden is a complete job - and details matter. The fact you trimmed behind the hibiscus against the house and pulled the long grasses underneath makes a difference! The owner must have been so happy and proud of the job you did - you can tell the garden has been taken care of. As for the kind of content I most enjoy watching, full yard cleanups are without a doubt my favorites. I learn a lot from watching the pros operating a wide variety of tools on full yard cleanups. And I like seeing all aspects of yard work, not just lawn mowing. Cripes, I don't even care if the lawns aren't monstrously tall. After all, we've all seen yards where the owners mow the lawn on occasion ... but the yards still look like hell because they never edge, never prune, never elevate their trees, never weed whack, etc. etc. (Not to mention the owners whose yards look like tire museums!) Oh, and I so agree about the sheer amount of effort that Sean and George put into their excellent work ... Tyler at Mowing for Mental Health, too, over in Sean's neck of the woods. You Australians truly rock when it comes to yardwork!

Full yard clean ups are much more satisfying than just a mow. Hedges, low hanging branches, edges, pulling vines of fences or walls. Love a good transformation 🎉 If someone wants to pay - let them, the people who cannot afford it are a totally different ball game. (If you are able to help) .
