Neal and Jon are like a battling old couple who are dysfunctional but sometimes dysfunction works and they need it to keep working together. These guys will never stop bickering because there is a comfort in the conflicts.

Saw Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood play in Philly this past June and it immediately becomes clear that deep down inside these guys really enjoy each other's company. They enjoy playing music. They all like each other warts and all which is why they spent 60 years working closely in a band. You get a sense that unlike Jonathan and Neal pretty much disliking each other the guys in the Stones dig each other which is why they are still working together 60 years later.

I think Neal Schon is on a ego trip. The old Journey guys said he could to out spoken.For example when Steve Perry was putting together Send Her My Love.Neal called it too Mary Poppins. He didn't like it until the the fans were going crazy. Steve and him had different then.Neal has a problem need anger management classes. 🥰😛💜💋🦋

They are just a cover band anymore. They want more then what they have. They spend every cent they make. Such a sad thing. Steve Perry is worth millions and has his head on straight. I feel the 3 of them feel need to back out of the media's eye!

I think it’s pretty standard for most bands for the ‘trademark pie’ to be shared among only the classic lineup. I can agree with that. If someone uses ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ in a movie, I don’t think Arnel necessarily deserves being paid for that. But no reason why the entire current band shouldn’t be represented on the website as the guys keeping the music alive.

Arnel wouldn't be paid for any of the classic songs in their catalog. The publishing and sync fees only go to the writers.

21:50 at this point, the Journey catalog has already been sold, so the brand is where their current profits, along with touring, are. I would hope that Deen, Todd and Jason are profiting from the above.

Jonathan Cain appears to be the only the adult in the room. Neal Schon never matured. He received fame at a very young age, first with Santana and then Journey. He doesn't know how to do anything else other than play guitar. He is spoiled and entitled and is putting the livelihoods of not only the band members but the crew etc. in jeopardy with his outlandish spending. If he wants to spend every penny of his own personal fortune...go for it. However when you are spending the business money for your own personal use than that is stealing!

Saw Journey and Def Leppard a few weeks ago. The music is great, but I couldn’t help making the comparison between Def Lep’s dedication to each other vs Journey. A lot of casual fans don’t follow the bands closely. They don’t follow the drama, and don’t even realize which members are original….but for me, the unnecessary drama diminishes their legacy.

Neal and his lovely gatecrasher are on an ego trip. He's been full of himself since he left Santana, and its clear in all the interviews. Usually in the back of a limo - which confirms the spending problem. He's a great guitar player, and wrote some killer tunes with his best collaborators- Greg, Steve, & Jon. Crumbling infrastructure reflected w/ your website observation. Only the songwriting matters. Touring bands are a well run circus of hired hands supporting a face on the marquee. Nothing to do with the legacy in your vinyl collection, or the three musketeers in a Disney fantasy. Do you work with the same dorks you did in 1980? Would you want to? Get real, fans. Shows are cancelled all over due to ticket sales and logistics - good reason to work w Leppard - and magnifying the $ trail. We like dirt. Good job including all the current deets!
