Thank you...and well done. Finally, somebody who listens to the complete work before giving a carefully, well thought out intelligent reaction to the whole song. No interruptions, just listening to the music and the lyrics to fully comprehend the meaning. This is why I have just subscribed.

My Mother Dorothy Jean Tandle…“Dotty” worked at Electro-Strings Rickenbacker Guitars “RIC” in early 1964. She did the work on the Beatles guitars. George’s 360-12... John’s 325- 6 string and his 325 -12 string, (first ever)…. Paul’s Left handed 4001.…Ten years later…..In the 1974, I worked for “Fender Musical Instruments” in Fullerton California. I made two Fender Rhodes Electric Pianos for John Lennon/Apple Studios. The one used on “Walls and Bridges” “Well if they’re gonna send one, send two cause I’d like one as well” John Lennon ordering a Fender Rhodes Electric Piano at the Apple studios. (Elton John recorded “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds” with the same piano) My mother and myself are the only mother/son that both built an instrument for John Lennon. My mother made guitars for many famous Rockers, including the red guitar that was smashed by Peter Townsend of the WHO and is in the Rock HOF. Chris Squire, Roger Waters, Paul McCartney (left-handed 1964 4001S FG Rickenbacker bass) , John Entwistle, George Harrison’s 12 String. Roger McGuinn 12 string and many others. I have built pianos for “You name it” just about everyone IE: “Pink Floyd” on “Dark Side Of The Moon” It is our little contribution to Classic Rock. I’m very proud of that fact.

Something to be proud of, man! Thank you for your part in great music… and your mum. Just one little correction “the” guitar that was smashed by Pete Townsend. There was more than one! Early on he’d nick a guitar from a shop and if they noticed he’d shout “I’ll pay you Saturday!” and make a run for it. Rock ‘n Roll.

IMAGINE .. Always a lump in my throat when Lennon sings it!! I think this video is thought provoking & absolutely beautiful. John & Yoko first met on 11/7/66, at the Indica Gallery in London, where Yoko was preparing Unfinished Paintings, her conceptual art exhibit about interactive painting & gallery. They were married on 3/20/69. ☮️ 💟 Freddie wrote a song called LIFE IS REAL as a tribute to Lennon!

Great and thoughtful reaction young man. This song is from his 1971 "Imagine" and quickly became a world anthem. It immediately spread across home here in the stated and became the anthem for Vietnam war protests across home here. Fifty three years later it's still with us as The Anthem across the free world. When covid was raging in 2020 the United Nations announced that the song should be the worlds anthem and it became that probably on it's own. If you were watching at the time you would see on the news people in NYC on their balconies all playing and singing it. In Italy when you weren't allowed too leave your home, same thing. Spain, France, England and across Europe. This song will still be around long after you and are long gone. So simple yet so powerful, that was one of Lennon's gifts as an artist. The ability to communicate across the masses messages that everyone could understand and relate too. That's rare and not easily done, it's a gift and and it's not this God given gift BS. Just as anyone from athletes to artist's and down down the line, it's a God given gift. Anything we can't explain, it came from God. Why would God choose a very small group of people and say I'm blessing you with special abilities. Well what about the rest of us? Why are we just average nit wits, half wits, MAGA assholes and criminals like Trump. God definitely blessed this man with special abilities to be criminal, a cheat and a highly gifted liar that's bursting at the seams with lies, deceit and and so much BS that he's bursting at the seams. Have you seen how fat this guy is getting. That's due to copious amounts of BS bursting out of him. He's about to explode from BS. Gifted people are that way because of a genetic accident not because God made them special and f_ _ k the other 95% of us. Trust me, Lennon was having none of that. He didn't even believe in God. He believed that there was a higher power of some type but not the man made God BS that religions have controlling people with starting with the old testament around 4,000 years ago. I realize that The Beatles are difficult too react to but on your own time I hope that you would go deep into that rabbit hole. You won't regret it, they are amazing on every level and Lennon and McCartney's songwriting abilities were off the charts. Harrison grew into a great one also. These guys were true tunesmiths and not just songwriter's. They were a team like Rodgers and Hammerstein. These guys wrote the catchiest songs in history and I mean out of John and Paul's 200 Beatles songs probably around 70 to 80 % of them and the rest of them would be considered good and very good in today's music. Take that leap and dive in, you'll be amazed. The most diverse catalog of music ever in recorded music history. They dabbled and experimented into just about every genera of music. No one but them ever has done this. All your great bands like The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Queen, Led Zeppelin and so on you know with in twenty seconds who it is. Play a Beatles song from 1963 or 64 and then put one on from their Revolver Lp in 66 and then their Sgt Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour period in 1967, you wouldn't know it was the same band if you weren't familiar with them. No one has ever done this except for them, they were that talented and gifted. You love Lennon's voice then you really need too listen to his vocals with The Beatles. I feel that he had the most unique and greatest voice in the history of popular music. The harmonies of John, Paul and George are off the charts and unmatched by anyone else except for sadly, probably the most underrated band in history, The Beach boys are incredible and had many #1 hits. If you haven't checked this band out then you really really need too. These guys were the American Beatles and they deserve that title in my books. I have one early Beatles 1963 song that I want you to check out please. The song "This Boy" which was the B-Side of their first #1 hit in the US "I Want To Hold Your Hand" Listen to John, Paul and George's three part harmonies on the main lines and then listen to Lennon just absolutely shred and I mean shred the bridge. They'll be smoke coming out of your headphones and the power and emotion in his voice will send tingles down your spine. I've been tingling and goose bumping for over 50 years now with this one. Anyone that listens to this one and doesn't conclude that Lennon doesn't possibly and probably have the greatest voice in rock music history needs to go to their PC or ear specialist and get their ears flushed out because they're full of wax. If you give this a listen or hopefully you can react to make sure it's its the studio version from their "Past Masters" CD which is compilation of all of their singles and EP'S from 1962 -70. Don't do a live performance video from 63 or 64 because the audio technology just wasn't in place yet to support a band like them yet. It's always nice to see them but the sound quality is terrible. This song in today's music world artists would kill for it and it would be a hit. To The Beatles it was just a throw away as a B-side to the A-side #1 hit. I don't know how many 45's I bought from the mid sixties probably through about 1980 was probably around a couple hundred and nobody ever listened to the B-sides because they always sucked. Anyone that's older would attest to that. You bought a single for the A-side hit. The Beatles were the outlier's, their B-sides always ranged from good to great. Lennon stated when asked why that was he said and I quote "We always wanted to give the fans the most bang for their buck" That was their attitude that no one else ever had too this day and that's one of the things that sets them apart from everyone else. Young artists today would fight each other for their B-sides. They would chart as A -sides. I hope you check this one out and hopefully I and others get to see it. I'm sorry but when you do Beatles or Dylan I'm gonna babble and ramble. It's like a nervous tick or something that I can't control but in reality I'm just trying to nudge you and other younger ones to explore these two artists because they deserve and even in your life times you ain't gonna see it again. These were some extremely, unique and one off individuals and all should introduced to and appreciate what we were left with here. Peace & Love to you and all out there.

Hey JM, I think you should know this info….. In 1965 Bob Dylan met The Beatles in London. In a hotel room Dylan turned them on to Cannabis for the first time… “We laughed and laughed and laughed” - Ringo Starr…… Dylan said to John Lennon…..You write nice little love songs like “I Want To Hold Your Hand”… BUT, you don’t say anything important, no social awareness and real meaning to your songs….. WELL, Lennon took that seriously and virtually every song he wrote after that was the best “Social Commentary” anyone has ever written. That is one reason Lennon and Dylan are my two favorite lyric writers, and now they may be yours too.

As usual, 5 days behind buttons song is my own personal anthem. I'll often use "Imagine" and "You may say I'm a dreamer" when posting memes or Bernie Sanders interviews on fb... I wish the "Christian Reich" (the Christian Nationalist MAGAts) that have turned into Racist, Xenophobic HATERS because thats what they've interpreted that their beliefsare what their interpretation of GOD has commanded, because they say so... let's ignore ALL of Jesus's teachings because I have a direct line to GOD! Pentatonix does an amazing cover, jus'sayin!
