Sukuna makes it very clear that he does not have Yuji's best interests at heart. And now, he essentially has a pact with Yuji that he doesn't even remember that says Sukuna can come out essentially whenever he wants for a single minute. And Yuji has no control of when that pact can be used. It's just a wild card in Sukuna's back packet. He challenged Itadori to a fight because he knew there was no way he was getting beaten by him. In other news, volcano head is roasting people alive and is now about to confront Gojo. We are in for a wild ride.

'Spirit Gun' comes from Yu Yu Hakusho. The trademark technique of the protagonist, Yusuke Uremeshi. A 112 episode anime from the creator of HunterXHunter. Basically, it's Dragon Ball Z but with ghosts, demons, and physics.

The fact that Geto says he's worth 8-9 of Sakuna's fingers is very interesting, because it makes me wonder, how many is Gojo worth because there are 20 fingers? Megumis Ten Shadows technique is very specific. His summons are stored in his shadow, they dont come from nowhere. Its also why he does shadow puppets. This is him realizing the shadow isnt a one way, he can also reach into it. His summons also arent formed from nothing, they are cursed spirits hes taken over after fighting them (except for the Demon Dogs, they came preinstalled). Theyre a lot like Pokémon, he battled them and "caught" them, now he can freely use them until theyre destroyed, where theyre gone forever.

The 8-9 Sukuna fingers used to measure Jogo's strenght is probably just the amount of cursed energy, not 1:1 to combat strenght. Cursed energy is just like electricity, what matters is what you do with it. Curses (or sorcerers) can use the same amount of cursed energy in different ways. Knowledge of the system is big too.

Think of it this way. The curse they fought in the last couple episodes was a special grade (the highest threat level a curse can be) with only a single Sukuna finger. Current Sukuna inside Yuji has I believe 3 or 4 fingers right now (forgot exactly how many). So Jogo is actually stronger than this current Sukuna. However, as you may have guessed, full Sukuna absolutely eclipses him. 8 or 9 is less than half of Sukuna's full strength after all.

if we consider one sukuna finger has a power of 2 units. Now jogo has a power of 9 sukuna fingers (i.e. 2^9 = 512) and current sukuna has 3 fingers in him (i.e. 2^3= 8). This is the approximate power difference between jugo and sukuna currently and now we can say that with each finger, sukuna's power increases exponentially. So jogo's power is only 0.048% of sukuna's original power (i.e. (2^9)/(2^20) x 100 = 0.0488 %).

The sub has that more playful, toying with his food kinda vibe, while the dub leans more into that sinister and menacing feeling. Both are valid for Sukuna, but it just depends on which side you'd prefer to be emphasized. I do think it'd be fun to see what they think though.
