Just another trail that's in my backyard to surprise me. I had ridden Sonoma Mountain in Jack London State Park years ago with my brother, but it didn't really sit in my memory as something to put in "the rotation". This ride jogged my memory.

I’ve been watching you since I started mountain biking back in 2016. Ever since 2020 came around I’ve needed motivation to keep on my feet and from going down a hole I can’t get out of. Your videos have kept me motivated to continue to ride and never stop riding because of that I don’t think I’ll ever stop riding. Thank you BKXC for being my inspiration and motivation to keep me up and wanting to ride when this pandemic is eventually under control or over.

You mentioned Tom is a good guide who find great trails in the bay area. When after you're ride in SF I got the GPX from Strava and when in the US I did your tour. Well got lost half and missed the great Mt Sutro. So a good guide makes all the difference. Thumbs up for Tom👍🏻

Tom sure has plenty of enthusiasm for his age and good skills, great to see you making vids again with Sarah. I just got my 2019 Instinct BC back from the shop with 2021 XO 10-52 installed, dropped a good half pound and looks HOT with the black chain and carbon crank. I was at Uwharrie both days last weekend for some muddy blue trail riding. My bike is so clean now i hate to take it out and try the new groupset

Your current parting motto inspired me to "do you a favor" and try a left-hand turn in my new-ish local trail which I'd previously ignored... turns out I found the perfect climbing trail to round up my laps (rather than climbing on boring tarmac with motorized vehicles for added displeasure). There good at letting the water drain, but there’s spots on the green trails that have puddles. And also some other trails and some mud but it ain’t that bad. It’s apart of mountain biking. 😂
