Julian Bream on how a Herman Hauser should be made is epic to hear about. I love the human story as much as hearing the great guitars. For me the Perry is beautiful and creamy. Thank you for having Mr. Sourhwell. Bravo 👏

Was just about to jump off, wow the Perry guitar has a gorgeous rich and well balanced sound. I would love to have the Perry and the Southwell in a perfect world! Your tone production is lovely and it really gives us listeners a true aural depiction of each guitar. Btw, I love what you are doing for the guitar makers, the wonderful players, and the classical guitar in general, thanks 🙏 so much!!!

Wonderful presentation today! All of the guitars are great but the Southwell, Perry and Ballowitz are a class apart. The balance, clarity and projection of the Southwell guitars is just fabulous.

I have such respect for these true luthiers 😎❤ I even wanted to learn it because I am a qualified carpenter and at one point my sister gifted me a great book on guitar making and I did consider trying but it never really materialised.. That first spruce looks great I'll enjoy seeing them all.. Any of of his guitars would be a privilege to play 😊

The name of the solo piece you played on the Southwell guitar? . . . obviously the guitar AND the lovely music . . . both beautiful!

I personally prefer cedar over spruce; however for my ears i liked the Perry over the Southwell instrument. THX for the interview with Southwell - VERY enlightening.

i heard Julian playing his Southwell, he had Augustine reds on it, i believe he always used the reds. I wonder how the tested Southwell, would sound in this setting with Augustine strings.

Seems, that the Southwell is difficult tune? Or got the strings put on too late for the demonstration?
