The show needs more personal stories again. There's no more scenes with Atwater and Burgess or Atwater and Ruzek hanging out. What happened with Ruzek and Burgess? How can gorgeous Jay be single all the time? Where's the family aspect of the show gone. It's just another case everyweek now. The show feels a little lifeless now.

This episode was great, but terribly hard to get through. My heart is broken because of what happened to Jay.😢 He is such a good man, he wanted justice for these boys, the tragic mistake was all because of that software idiot. Yes, the episode was great and it's clear Jay / Jesse carries the most realistic, complicated cases, but on the other hand, seriously, these writers are constantly torturing Jay - war trauma, torture, mother's death, Erin's departure, father's death, now this. Give him a break for Gods sake!

The cast are all good and capable actors, but Jesse is just a different beast. I feel like if they gave his storyline to anyone else, it won't have the same impact so they end up writing all the tragic scenes for him lol. Hopefully this just means the writers won't end up writing him off since they love torturing him hahaha.
