I think Ellie is brilliant and she nailed the North American accent considering I'm just finding out in this video that she has an English accent and I like how Tony really brings depth and pacing with the scene partners he's with. I was worried he was going to be typecasted as a throwaway nerd but I like how his character has taken ownership of himself on the journey and is coming into his own. You seem very invested in your stance since you echo your views throughout the comment section of this video and I'm curious why and like to understand.

As an actor, I'm not usually assigned characters that are like me, unlike my friend B, who was assigned a forgetful character in a play, and he ended up forgetting a line or two on the second night of our production.

I’m pretty sure it’s because everyone who is originally from Tir Asleen doesn’t have a British accent, but everyone beyond the barrier does. It makes sense when you think about how Boorman is from beyond the barrier, and so is Scorpia, and so is Sorsha, and so is Jade, so they all have that accent. Then everyone who grew up in Tir Asleen has an American/Canadian accent.
