I think mfs are getting playing for money and getting paid to play the game confused. Until you sign yo name on that contract’s dotted line……you are not a professional player of ANY kind lol semi professional doesn’t exist in any type of esport at all.

and the basketball point of "playing overseas" its still professional basketball, just not the NBA a better point to "semi pro" would be collegiate level, but even then you're not making money therefore you're not a pro

100% agreed. I think there's something that unlocks within a player when they're going for $100,000 and gotta remain composed and perform at the highest level for the bread. No shade towards good or great players , but there will always be a difference from them and an actual pro/ex pro

i practice to be a well rounded player. you will always fit what the team needs in situations. the ability to adapt in any given situation is what make well rounded player a good player . i agree, money or no money people will just enjoy that having your skill set in casual games or competitive.

No there is something like a semi pro because you can semi live from playing gears and what is definition of handling gears as a profession so making money so a player who play wagers and wins a couple a month too pay rent is a semi pro who does it fulltime is complete pro.

I agree with u on ppl should be able to Plat multiple roles bcuz I play apex alot an my highest rank solo is Dimond 2 an o be seeing ppl do thing that just blow my mind like y u not tryna support the team or y u tryna play like it's u vs multiple other squads, I had a hard time doin that to where I finally understood like hey I can't always play 1 type of way an ion think ppl understand that at all

Firstly, dropping 42 kills was casually talking about this topic is fucking hilarious 😅 Second, the semi-pro doesn't make sense in Gears of War as there isn't any "minor" leagues or "academy" teams, its either you are a pro playing in leagues and tournaments or you aren't! I can respect the desire to have some sort of differentiating term for the average player versus someone trying out for a pro team, but at the end of the day anyone can try but only a few succeed (the pros)!
