Then when they did Joe was still playing games, not even answering Crooks calls.. At the end of the day Crook and Joell dont F..K with Joe anymore, he only cares about himself. Royce thinks he is so wise but doesnt understand sometimes by sitting on the fence you are actually picking a side and only fooling yourself. Everyone else there simply jumps out the window to say that the other members were dirty and greedy. That is all speculation, you don’t know their motivation. They each have come out publicly and said that money was not the factor behind making that record. So are they lying? Are you just bashing their character because Royce is present? At some point people need to stop assuming they know and accept that only these four MCs know the true story. Fact is, until they can all get in one room and hash it out and squash it, these conversation will only make the divide bigger. Couple things about this interview: 1. Why does Royce keep chewing on this straw and putting his hand in front of his mouth when he talks. 2. Why does Keno keep talking like he's getting interviewed? I ride with Math’s explanation. I think it’s rooted in jealousy. If it was a money thing they could have A.) Asked the group for help or B.) Planned WITH the group to do a fake beef for sales then reunite with a surprise album. For men in their position, there are countless options to get money without choosing betrayal…unless you are envious/jealous.

It's not even jealousy. The problem was always Joe's ego. Joe enjoys being the one in control and he likes to toy with and diminish others so he can feel above them. He's incredibly manipulative. There's countless examples we can point to on this pattern of behaviour with him, but very tellingly was anytime Joe and crook have had to interact on a camera....Joe tries his usual tactics and crook is stone faced and legit not falling for one single bit of it. I've seen interviews with those two be awkward as fuck. It's palpable that crook does not like when Joe tries it with the bullshit. Joe could not manipulate crook, and he could not demean him. Crook wouldn't fucking let him. The whole issue was Joe saying he wasn't rapping anymore, which IS what he said, and not just publicly. He said that to crook, and otherwise dodged crooks calls. Joe wanted to be the one in control, the top dog, the powerful one....the one the others were DEPENDANT on. And he didn't give a fuck how that impacted anyone else. Crook simply said "no" to Joe's ways and refused to BE a dependant.
@JRD19902 жыл бұрын
Crooked doesn't have a reason to be jealous of Joe & Royce nor be desperate for money. He's the CEO of his own record label (C.O.B Digital) and Vice President of another label (Treacherous Records). He even has his own talk show you can watch on KZbin (Crook's Corner). He also did an interview for Eminem on it 2 years ago plus he had a feature on Em's last album. Crooked loves Slaughterhouse, he just wanted the group to reunite for one last time and give the fans closer... nothing more nothing less.

You guys missed a lot of key questions and seemed to just roll with Royce’s version of things without much push back or interrogation. Some questions you should have asked: did you or Joe try to get any other deals? Did you or Joe make any moves to monetize Slaughter House in any of the ways you listed (merch, NFT, etc)? If the answer to those questions is no, then you could have proposed that perhaps that’s where the move from Crook and Joel stemmed from. They could have seen it as you guys not being as passionate or serious about the group. Add to that some questions about the communication failings from Royce’s side (like did he think there were any failings at all from his side) and it would have been more interesting or fruitful. As it is, this is just coming across as a bit too soft ball or d**k riding line of discussion. Also would make it super cringe if crook or Joel ever took the chair and you guys then didn’t ask them “did you do it because you needed the money, because that’s what it looked like to us” since that appears to be your collective stance
@sontwisted2 жыл бұрын
They are so leaving out the fact that it was 10 years 9 on shady 1 off and nothing happened they were done after that or the fact that joe said he doesnt honor contracts so even if he was receptive to any deal they brought how can they trust he wont do the same thing again and since joe aint trust worthy and royce wont move without joe that leaves slaughter house defunct
@nurangetv2 жыл бұрын
They didn't allow enough time to even get another deal. That's royce entire issue. Crook was dead set on that deal. And merch won't do any good because the group wasn't active....you have to come back outside so ppl can see again in order to sell them something. They had just got out of the shady deal for a year.....that's nothing in the music industry. It take most artists that long to make an album!!! I'd bet there's more to the story, but the more it plays out, it looks like the guys just needed the quick lick....
@Itua2 жыл бұрын
@@nurangetv how much time is needed? They spent a year getting off shady and they had been off Shady for a year when this shit happened, so that’s 2 years to workshop deals. Not “get a deal”, just workshop deals. Crook didn’t have a deal. He had a proposal from someone who might give them a deal. And he had that Bc he was workshopping the group when seemingly nobody else was. If Crook had time, everybody else had time.
@romoloromoletto20002 жыл бұрын
@@nurangetv you’re speculating there. My entire point was that it would have been a better interview if they asked him point blank what moves or attempts he and Joe made during the year window they were off Shady. If the answer is that they tried x, y and z but weren’t allowed to see how those panned out because the other two rushed the situation, then they have a valid point framing it as a foul move or that they needed the money and so on. However, if Royce were to say that they didn’t actually make any moves during the year off shady then it plays to Crook and Joel’s narrative that Royce and Joe weren’t serious and were just dragging things out.

It's too much speculation for something both Crook and Joell have already told yall their reasoning behind it. Imagine you were apart of a group for a second and at every single show, every day somebody is asking you about the group and what's the hold up and you know you've done everything you can to give the fans what they're asking for and at this point you don't have an answer? Eventually you get tired of saying the same shit over and over again so you have 2 choices, either let the world know it's not happening like they did or you keep holding out blind faith for the slimmest possibility of it happening and continuing making empty promises
