There is so much to love here! You've got Mizrak who, despite being stabbed, still does his job and fights till he can't stand anymore. Olrox gets distracted from what was likely a killing stroke, and he doesn't have his usual finesse in shifting from one form to another in his haste to reach Mizrak. Mizrak doesn't shy away from taking comfort in Olrox's embrace. How, as soon as he senses a threat to his lover, Olrox curls protectively (almost like a snake coils) and bares his fangs as he tells a devil to eff-off and stay away from Olrox's beloved.... also, Alucard draws his weapon as if ready to back Olrox's play to defend Mizrak's soul.

I liked Mizrak's character. I wish he would have had the opportunity to actually lead other Knights of Saint John against the vampire hoard following their oaths. Instead they were just cannon fodder dishonorable losers, that followed the biggest hypocritical coward in the series Abbot Abbot Emmanuel.

Erzsebet is a easy evil, she is loud, physical, the type of problem you can punch in the face until it breaks. This... this is the insidious type of evil, the thing sculking trough shadows, lurking, at the first sign of weakness it shows its fangs, but it doesnt fight directly, it can be scared away... but it keeps looking, waiting for a new chance, making deals, dragging more and more people trough the mud, to finally get what it wants. Alucards knows this is true evil.

Thank you! I’ve been saying! He’s not even a villain! And the only character I think that might be stronger than him is Dracula. And there is a working theory that Olrox is a God that he Quzcolt or however you spell it. It makes sense because Sekmet was confirmed to be a Vampire this entire time. I think all Vampires in castlevania have the potential to become gods. Or rather a lot of would be gods in mythology are actually just very old and powerful Vampires.

Most elder vampires have powers unique to themselves, but even among them, Olrox’s abilities are especially unique and a lot more potent for a vampire that’s around 50 years younger than Alucard. Olrox isn’t one to engage head on with an equally powerful opponent though. We’ve seen him fight 3(?) times so far in two seasons and the only one he squares up to is Julia Belmont. He’s primarily a caster. If he hits you at range, it’s over. Two hits with that lighting and Drolta was done. Which is why he prefers to hit from behind. I don’t think he could take Alucard or Drolta in hands though. His abilities arent complimentary to a close fight.

He said that he was in Tenochtitlan (Aztec capital city in Mexico) laughing with others because they didn't think that the Spanish would conquer them but then when the city fell he became a slave. He said that among the things the Spaniards brought from the old world were the vampires as a conquistador was the vampire who turned Olrox. Also his demon beast form is a winged serpent like Quetzalcoatl. olrox acts like he's an elder vampire but he's not really that old; he can't be. he was human when the spanish conquered the aztec empire and turned by one of the spanish. that happened in 1521 at the earliest so he's less than 300 years old. not very old for a vampire in any lore.

While I agree in general, it's actually pretty old in the Casltevania universe in which vampires apparently don't manage to survive that long - Olrox does mention many vampire hunters coming after him, and the Belmonts are also active. But yes, Drolta for instance is far older - but Dracula himself in Castlevania OG was only about 400 and not that ancient

Alucard can probably smell exactly what part of him is bleeding out and knows he's a dead man because there is no hospitals or triage centers nearby that can save him in time. or I guess he could just cast "cure" or use a potion, amirite??

And even if he did grab Mizrak and fled to find a doctor, there's a strong possibility Mizrak would be dead by the time Alucard found help. Keep in mind the entire city was evacuated of civilians and non combatants like doctors for the upcoming battle. The doctors of Paris were far away and Alucard had no way of knowing where they were exactly.
