Do you know what's absolutely petrifying? Crawford didn't leave third gear and didn't even use 70% of his toolbag. Errol should swallow his pride and stay away!!! I genuinely fear for his health, even at 154 lbs in a rematch. I have watched boxing for an extremely long time and Crawford for me is one of the best I have ever seen. If Terrence goes up and becomes Undisputed at 154 then we need to have a conversation about him being top 10 of all time surely?!?!?!

Top 10 all time. In the history of boxing? Absolutely not. He’s undisputed but he hasn’t exactly beat a murderers row.d best wins are Spence and Porter. Brook, khan etc we’re all past it. He would hold his own against anyone at WW but that doesn’t make him an ATG.

@@Sam-tx1tnjust out of curiosity who would you have above him ? Because he clearly fights upto the level of competition and more importantly he's stopping everyone Floyd was the best defensive boxer ever IMO but offensively and switching at such ease and being able to take a couple of rounds to find out what there are about and then implement that to a point to where he finishes them it normally gets harder the more.you move up the rankings and weight to finish people but Bud has 11 straight KOs all in world title fights
@ninjasrose1653
@ninjasrose1653 Жыл бұрын
@Sam-tx1tn If he becomes undisputed in three weight divisions and retires undefeated, then he will go in there regardless. He's beaten everyone that's been put in front of him and done it with ease!

@@Sam-tx1tnsorry but those same intangibles of fighters being past their best etc… are the same for all the ATGs. They’ve all beaten good/great fighters who were arguably past their best. The fact is they beat them. Bud is already arguably a top 25/30 ATG and if he becomes Undisputed in a 3rd weight class then he’s defo a top 10 ATG, regardless of how you rate his opponents.

Spence was probably the easiest for him to prepare for because his style is predictable. And Crawford is highly unpredictable and adaptable. Once Spences main weapon was nullified there was nothing more in his bag of tricks. In saying all that, I feel for Spence. Hes a warrior. That guy damn near flew threw a car windsreen at 100mph , punch drunk and ended up in a coma. You cant tell me that don't affect a man, especially at the elite level. I fear the next fight gets him killed or permanently brain damaged.

Terrence Crawford is more than No.1 PFP. He is now one of 'the greats' - up there with Duran, Leonard, and the rest of them. The "okay" challengers for Terrence's previous fights were at least competitive. He did fight 'somebodies' - people just had their bias.

Man idk how many comments I left saying I was sick of hearing about the strength and power of Spence and Crawford because I never thought Spence hit much more power wise to where Crawford timing wouldn't compensate for more effect power shots

So happy some yanks are waking up to Crawford. That PBC propaganda has alot of them believing nonsense. Spence Jr is still a top class boxer and that is why he didnt make bs excuses, like the hillbilly windmill. He will have success at 154, just not against Crawford.

I have no problem with Crawford at p4p #1. This was the biggest fight of 2023. Nobody can say Tank,Canelo,Benavidez,Haney,Teofimo had bigger wins. I just hope Crawford can follow this with a win over another good fighter and not a tuneup or Spence

I got Hopkins Trinidad vibes...but as a Bud fan it was dark, it's almost we got a behind the curtain glimpse of the boxing hype narratives, it was like, everyone but Errol was in and what was about to go down....and he was surprised, it was like seeing a real blood during a WWF match, it was weird.

My one gripe, bud had a blocked resume due to the politics of boxing. That kind of acceptance, it’s reminds of the wife in an abusive relationship, oh well i’m married to him. As long as “sides of the street” is expressed in an acceptable way no change will happen. There’s only professional boxing, push that narrative instead of “oh well it is what it is”, maybe the promoters and the fans will get what they deserve. If bud or spence won 5 years ago, maybe we see undisputed at 4 weight divisions, maybe we’d see how great a boxer could get. Stop being the abused spouse, it is not ok if you care about the future of boxing.

Its crazy the boost these guys getting for beating people that look so sub par to them. Spence looked like a zombie foggy hazy high you could pierce his soul through the screen lmao. He was getting touched & flying around the ring like a beaten up Barbie or some shit. About Frail Fulton no comment looked frozen & scared shitless. And i cant attribute their poor performances solely to the superiority of Crawford or Inoue. Although i do believe they beat them in normal circumstances too but not in such fashion. Kinda unfair to the other p4p guys but its a fantasy list anyways, it is what it is

Spence was brain damaged before the ring walk, the result of a horrific car crash. You can't rate this performance, as impressive as it looked, because Spence should never have been cleared to fight. What does Rafael know about the sweet science? Watching a sport for thirty years doesn't qualify, or half the people in this thread would be considered "experts" Dan Rafael is an expert in eating, nothing more. Crawford will have plenty of opportunities to prove his worth defending his titles.

For those who truly listened to this dude, I feel Dan has a fair, and good grasp of how the fight should be looked at, and a fair and firm grasp on proper journalism, regardless the topic. Always asking solid questions, pushing the envelope only when needed, not one to go for the "hot take"... Hat tipped for a great interview.

Terrence 'quietly' achieves. He got to 40/0/0 with no hype, no fuss. He came 'quietly'; I hope he leaves/retires 'quietly'. I see the 154D as an 'easy bag' and tempting for Bud to tidy-up. 154 will suit him, pre-retirement. Hopefully, he doesn't accept any retired fighters contracts. They never count, in my opinion, for obvious reasons, and I don't think Bud would want to be remembered for that.
