ABOUT KEVIN CHAPMAN
I'm a 39 year old KZbinr from the UK. I've got a cracking beard and I'm currently going through the autism diagnosis process. I started this channel back in 2017 and by the time I left my full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July of that year, my partner Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw me because I was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today I'm a full-time content creator and always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. Anna is so correct wearing spanx when your back is sore helps SO much. I also have a tenz machine and it's the best thing I have ever bought! I can put it on and go about my day. I bought a rechargeable 1 from Argos and was about £40 and worth every single penny.

Glad taking the phone worked, had it not being effective I would have considered getting him to clean the carpet himself (I realise it will probably need properly clean afterwards anyway but just for cause and effect training). I know Anna said she gets Andy to help empty it but I would maybe get him involved in actually scrubbing the carpet. I'm terms of the dog privates... I noticed after people commented but I don't really see why an animal natural body is such an issue 🤷🏻‍♂️

Humans bodies are natural and we still cover it up. Some people just don't like to have to see animal parts like that. I sure dont. But you do you and look at what you want to look at.

Hello Sir. I look forward to the Adventure Day Footage :) I have never Played Minecraft, it does not appeal I am afraid. I am glad Anna's Stream is going well. Hi Kev. Coming from an autist maybe Andy has potentially gotten into a routine of laziness where he urinates but having spoken to my mother she wonders whether something has cropped up that has upset him and or his routine. Mum isnt trying to tell you what to do but she suggests that you take him to his safe space and get him relaxed by using massage and see if Anna can get him to open up.

Indeed he does. He needs to learn. However I would suggest the following: 1. I agree with one person here that getting him to clean the carpets would be a better idea to teach him to do chores and not leave it up to his mum to do (yes, I know he's autistic, but autistic people need to learn to do chores too as part of life skills) and also, to teach him some form of independance as well as cause and effect. The phone confiscation thing seems fine enough. 2. I would also suggest, like I did in the one about the toilet being broken that you could install a squat toilet, like those ones in Asian countries such as India and China.

It could be a sign he has a bladder infection. I know cats normally pee outside the litter box if they have a infection & I know Andy isn't a cat but it could be him trying to tell you something is wrong

Commodes generally are really for people who CANNOT go up to use the toilet. Andy needs go learn go use it properly, so getting up to use it.

Slippery slope if they encourage it then he'll soon figure out that he won't need to go to the bathroom at all and just go in his room or pants and essentially regress in terms of potty training better to avoid all that

REALLY? SERIOUSLY?.He needs to live away from.his parents, and Kevin and Anna cannot look after him 24/7. They need their own lives. Andy needs his own life. Also, no one lives forever, and Andy may not know how to cope if he still lives with them. Also, do you know what assisted living ACTUALLY is? Not all the homes are like Winterboune View, you know.
