My parents are divorced, it seems that most are these days, and back in the day, I lived every other week with Mom and her long time boyfriend, Alex, in their townhouse. He’s a laid-back ex-surfer turned money guru. He was also Mom’s affair partner from fifteen years ago. To keep things simple, he’s the unofficial step-dad. Him and Mom never married. I used to hate him, but I’m kind of neutral now. I feel the same about Mom.
I’m second oldest at twenty-one. I’m Isaac Lindon. My older sis, Natalie, is twenty-four. She doesn’t like me because I chose Dad over our cheating Mom. It's also because when Natalie got mad with me, she broke something of mine. Mom never did anything about it.

I enjoy your stories and your narrator's voice. The plots are fun and intriguing and always leave me wanting more. I have to ask though...do you have a sister in your past that did serious damage to you? The "evil sister" is a theme that has consistently appeared in our stories that I've listened to so far and while it's lots of fun, the "sister characters" are so over the top that they're starting to detract from the enjoyment the rest of the story brings.

How old are you or were do you shop? In the early 80’s my designer original shirts were at least $300 apiece. When I shopped for new clothes every six months the bills were over $2000. It’s expensive dressing well when you love clothes. I also enjoy shopping at second hand shops. They sometimes have new clothes with the original tags still on them. Hermes is a high quality, high end, designer clothing line I believe is based in Paris. A simple tie costs over $200, and a shirt like the one used in this story is often more than $900. They have a website, and before you ask, they are out of my price range. Like Mitch in 'Outed,' I shop at the discount store, and second hand store. Still, I can dream! Peace!

It sounded like the shirt was $100. Guess I missed something. That does sound more plausible. I was spending thousands a year on clothes in my early 20’s which was in the early 80’s. Always had a new suit ready for the next event that no one had seen me in. They took three fittings since I was bodybuilding and had a 27” waist with a 42” chest. I’m only 5’-4” tall and had only started at 19 at the guy. Wrestled in high school, because I was too small for football and not very good in basketball. Track was not my thing either since my legs were short and muscled I was not fast. There was no other sports, the school hod 200 students with grades 7 through 12. I always loved gymnastics and did not get to take classes until college but everyone else was so far ahead of me I could not catch up. Started going to disco clubs and am really good at dancing. Had several friends in the school of dance so I was on the dance floor a lot and every weekend. Trying to get back into a routine but Dallas is 1.5 hours south of me. Also I’m too far from family and friends. Missing Southwest Louisiana so when I finish renovations on my home here I’m selling and moving back. I’m sure I mentioned before I will go back to L. A. and see about a place there also to split my time. Love the weather and modern architecture. Plus hiking in the mountains down to the ocean. You should try it sometime. It’s something you and your boyfriend can do together that’s a lot of fun and I think it’s free, at least that’s what I remember a friend of mine and I would do. There were lots of free things we could do. The beaches were free, and the museums had a day during the week for locals to visit. I don’t remember if the bars had a cover, and since I don’t drink very much it wasn’t very expensive for me to go out. Either way I got my moneys worth dancing! Enough about me, keep up the great work and compile some thing. My book will come out as an e-book first, and then an audiobook. Those two are the least expensive and the easiest to do. The audiobook will be used in the documentary, and then the printed book is last because it’s most detailed and expensive. Good luck with yours!
