Scrooge's main saying is that he's tougher than the toughies, smarter than the smarties, and sharper than the sharpies and these three traits were how he became the worlds richest duck. This show is great at showing how each of the triplets embodies one of those traits. Dewey is tough, Huey is smart, and Louie is sharp. A great showing of how sharp and cunning Louie can be.

So funny story- few years back, when this episode first premiered, I'd come home from a really shitty day at work. I was chatting with a friend about it and put on the episode, and the moment Scrooge's head turned and he went "Game night?" followed by his rushing around yelling "GAME NIGHT" I laughed SO HARD that I forgot all about work. It was perfect.

So Idk if you play d&d but you have seen shows that use D&D rules, I love that in this episode Scrooge lays down the difference between Intelligence(Huey) and Wisdom(Louie), Louie has the ability to use insight and perception to realize what's coming and how to deal with it, and that's a very underrated ability.

@@exeggutivejudge3747 Huey has intelligence: technical skills like Investigation to decipher how a trap works, or use crafting tools like the sewing kit, whereas Louie has Wisdom: observation skills like Perception, to know where the trap is, or insight, the ability to infer what people are intending to do and how it will play out. That on role-playing terms, in real life terms Intelligence is knowing that Tomato is a fruit, Wisdom is to not use tomatoes in a fruit salad

This mark the moment when you caught up to what I watched (for a long time, Canadian Disney plus ONLY had the first season, and that meant that I couldn’t watch past season 1… later they fixed it, but I had kinda forgotten about it… :( So no I’m watching along! For the best effect! :3 Thanks a lot for these, you really brought back the joys of watching this show in my life… watching this episode, I was laughing so much, I was continually saying “Why did I EVER STOP watching this show?” XD I REALLY love that the FIRST TIME we see the ghost butler again, he’s ONLY there to run away from game night. XD And I think he includes Webby in the family as a kind of “found family” for her, not that she’s *actually* related. We could remember the ACTUAL full, original saying: “The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb”, meaning that your “found family”, the one you actually CHOOSE to tie yourself to, makes for stronger bonds than just “well, we happened to be born in the same blood line…”

yeah, Microverse adventure movies were pretty much the same as any old adventure movie or series just trying to change the location, making the familiar unfamiliar was the catch. Micronauts, Insecti whatevers, a few shrunken people, facing strange tiny nomad people, giant bugs....and funny enough this is a trope that pops up in most American animated shows, the shrunken episode lost in the house...as opposed to the fantastic voyage episode where they shrink and end up inside someone's body.

So fun not so fun fact about this episode, the *adult fanbase* after this episode started to ship Webby and Dewey, more so than the previous season and were upset the show was pushing them here into a more brother and sister relationship...shippers...the less canon a ship is likely to be the more hostile and defensive they get about it (see Rainbow Dash X AppleJack, Applejack x Rarity, Charlie X Alastor, Alastor x Lucifer, Luz x Eda, Dewey x Webby, etc...) like bothering the voice actors about it at panels. Which is why I try to tune out drama reactors feeding on the "there is a controversy in the fanbase of *x* show about *this unlikely ship*.
