I just want to say, Mouse was very calm the entire time and he let the man keep him hostage because he believed the man and wanted him to get the help he was asking for to find his daughter.

He knew he wasn’t a bad person when he spoke about his daughter being missing and no one helped, and him being a former Marine. He really saved his life.

Unpopular opinion, if Trudy was a little nicer this wouldn’t have happened!

That’s just facts

That is very true, I can also see why she wasn't the nicest. It was chaotic and she was trying to deal with multiple people at the same time. Then we have her natural personality which is being more on the mean side.

@@rsdwarrior2790 Yeah I get that BUT if a man comes and he's sounding this desperate because his daughter has gone missing, the least you can do is show a little empathy. It was ironic that she said in the show something like command was supposed to be sacred but she didn't even make the man feel safe. Love Trudy but she dropped the ball.

@Ty B Okay but when you have multiple people who are trying to talk to you, you don't have time. And she told him to go to the other division then the other man interrupted so when the dad started up again she was overwhelmed. She had way too much happening at once to be able to show the compassion everyone wants. She has to be stern with that many people demanding things.

Yeah but it portrays the real police workers, it’s unfair because sometimes they are understaffed, and we know the backstory of this father, but in other cases they just leave, I mean Trudy just follow procedures. It’s sad and the only one who is at fault it’s the system.

I might be wrong about this, but I think Mouse clocked the guy who was getting ready to shoot the guy at 6:16 and the look Jay gave him at 6:22 was telling him that the shot was about to be taken. It just seems like expert character writing with small details like that

It's unfortunate. I'm sure he could get a temporary insanity plea.

If this was real as soon as the court heard that his daughter WAS actually kidnapped by trafficers and the police just blew him off for months, along with past military service, the likelihood of him ever seeing significant prison time would be next to nothing.
@Adam-g01 Жыл бұрын
@@YuYu_Kamiand at the end in the episode the guy removes bullets so it’s reduced to reckless endangerment which in illinois is up to a year just and given the circumstances and his arrest, I expect it’s likely it was at most suspenddd
