Mokaev won a close decision over Perez and went up in the rankings. Alex Perez took a short-notice fight and got a great finish over somebody ranked higher than Mokaev. Thus placing him ahead of Mokaev. It's not BS it's just how the chips fell. As soon as a fighter pulls out, these other fighters need to jump on the phone and call the UFC ASAP to take a short-notice fight if they're in shape.
