I see and understand Andrew's point about some cars being dull in daily commuting thru a couple of hours in city traffic. That is when some simple 'back to basics' cars like Jimnys, Kelisa with that unique character invokes one's senses each time one is behind the wheel. Personally it depends on one's expectation and also understanding what the car is designed for. E.g. a HRV is a no-nonsense point A to B mode of transport that although boring will likely keep occupants and driver relaxed, whereas a roly-poly high-revving Kancil can be quite tiring once the excitement dies down.

I bought new from Naza. not comfortable, slow, body roll here and there, when you hit potholes your whole body shaking. the only thing is good is the attention, everyone will turn their head.

Andrew, ur kids may not like EV as the regenerative braking will cause motion sickness in some ppl. Some models of EV has reduce the efficiency of the regenerative braking to reduce the chance of motion sickness for passengers but the trade off is to lost some mileage. Not sure how true, maybe those who owns a EV and provide feedback will be good for those potential buyer.
