They caught the guy from DNA off a pop can a lifelong violent felon resident of the Ohio dept of corrections out on parole. Judge accepted a plea deal dropped most charges wasn't considered a carjacking or kidnapping. Warn teens to never give a stranger a ride

Don’t get me wrong, seeing someone like Dylan Roof die would be satisfying as hell, but humans and the justice system are too fallible to play God. Since 1973, at least 189 people sentenced to death in the U.S. have been exonerated after the fact. That alone is enough reason to ban the death penalty.

Great story, Lamont. If I was the executioner, I would not let him stall the execution. I would have given him three minutes to say his prayers and that would be it. And I am being nice about it. If anyone pulled a gun on me as I drove my car, I would smash the car into another car or into a brick wall, not caring what happens to me. I would not let someone be in control of me or of my vehicle, no matter what. I would not be so stupid to pick up a hitchhiker in the first place, so this would never happen to me. I was told a story of someone who picked up two teenage kids, boy and a girl, who pulled a gun on him as he drove. He got the gun away from them, killed the girl with it, and tried to kill the boy but the boy jumped out of the car and ran for his life. He was unable to get a shot at him. He took the girl's dead body out of the car and dumped it in the woods in a desolate area. This man never told his wife about what he did. He had to tell a close friend as well as the woman who told me of this, who was a co-worker of his. This is just one of the many reasons why I do not pick up hitchhikers, no matter how innocent they may appear to be. Looks can always be deceiving. I am glad that this POS was executed. I wish I were there to be a witness to it. I would laugh at him all the way to his death and spit in his face if I could. REST IN PEACE TO HIS VICTIMS AND GOD BLESS THE ONE WHO LIVED. BURN IN HELL MICHAEL BUEKE....BURN IN HELL !!!

I can't believe I hitch hiked as a teenager so much and lived through it. It was usually on the way to high school because I wanted to save my bus money to buy candy. I know of a lady that her daughter was murdered. The mother would visit the guy every week and would teach him about Jesus. Through her the man was saved and through Jesus she forgave. From my understanding she visited him til she passed away.

Lamont, u mentioned the forgiveness of the man near the end of this video. That reminds me of a 24 hour gas station here in my town where a guy walks in to rob the place and shoots the young man working as the attendant and leaving him paralyzed if im not mistaken. Later, during the suspects trial, that young man forgave that guy in that court room for sending him to a life in a wheelchair. Man, that takes a LOT!!

Hey Lamont, thanks a bunch for this interesting yet tragic part of history. My condolences to the families who suffered at the hands of this terrible tormented individual. The death penalty was his only out. If I may say, your title reads "the Lords prayer" but you recited The Hail Mary...??? Just a friendly point out. In PA we call them Cicadas. They come out every 17 years…on the money!

We have them in D.C. too, but there are different "broods" on different cycles. There are 10 year cicadas, 17 year, and others. It’s interesting to research.
