Reserves are certified with full police powers in my area. And they go through over 250 hrs of training before you can become one.

Sheriff Raphael Washington took advantage of this guy. Look at the dates; this guy has had police contact for years before and after he was sworn in. Why is it an issue now? Plus, most off-duty police officers have police contact; it doesn’t mean anything. It looks like the sheriff was upset he didn’t get enough gifts. Not to mention, the guy had no training by the sheriff’s office. How is he supposed to know what to do? This is a clear scam by the sheriff. Only God knows how many other people the sheriff is abusing behind the scenes. Thank God this man came forward, and, most importantly, this man donated to fallen officers. We need to appreciate him for coming forward. The sheriff is 100% in the wrong here. The sheriff needs to step down; he’s a selfish sheriff, and this is proof. He’s quick to take and ask for gifts, but when it slows down, he’s claiming he doesn’t know this man. Unbelievable.
