One of the greatest coaches ever!!! Period Andy Reid made the eagles relevant and a consistent winner and now a dynasty with the chiefs!!
@donstervintage838311 ай бұрын
Yep. He's had FIFTEEN seasons of double-digit wins as a head coach. 2023 might be his finest coaching job of a looooong career. What he did with the Chiefs since they lost to the Raiders was amazing. As great as Reid is, I can't help but feel sad for Kyle Shanahan. He had TWO 3rd-down plays that would have ended the game & he couldn't get it done. He had Brandon Aiyuk wide open pre-snap on one but Purdy didn't see him. The other was in OT deep in KC territory & the play he called was blown up.
@Jay95311 ай бұрын
I agree, what a tremendous coach. I wish he was back with the Eagles.
@RobbieStacks9011 ай бұрын
That had nothing to do with Andy Reid's coaching. If anything, if the 49ers were coached properly, they would have won comfortably. I knew they were going to lose when they didn't turn the Mahomes interception in the 3rd into points. The offensive play-calling was horrendous. McCaffery should have had 50 touches on the night. You run him into the ground, bleed the clock, and only throw with Purdy on surprise play-action passes. The defensive coordinator for the 49ers proved that he does not deserve a job in the NFL. His situational play-calling was awful. Mahomes is a great QB, but he looked like he was playing against a flag football defense for the last half hour of the game. A competent DC would have stopped him at least once. The 49ers lost the game more than the Chiefs won it. Andy Reid didn't do anything special.
@Jay95311 ай бұрын
@@RobbieStacks90 So you validated the exact argument we're making Andy Reid is a tremendous head coach, one of five head coaches with three Super Bowl wins, and they're not done yet.
@RobbieStacks9011 ай бұрын
@@Jay953 That doesn't validate him at all. If anything, he coached a bad game. He had 6 seconds with which to score a touchdown at the end of the first half but played it conservatively when, realistically, another play would have only taken 3 or 4 seconds, and Mahomes could have thrown the ball away quickly if there was nothing there. The clock management on the drive that forced overtime was also horrific. A great coach would have won the game in regulation given that much time with all those timeouts.

Same situation with the other son, Andy put him on the Chiefs staff, another dream job for most. And what's he do, another adult addict who on Superbowl weekend several years ago thought it was a good idea to drive while drunk, and almost killed two innocent little kids...yes, the kids are alive, but their injuries are so severe, they most likely will never have a normal life... So you should check the facts before saying he's a bad Dad. He has 3 other kids who haven't caused him any grief. If you a sports fan, you know this was nothing serious. Back in Superbowl LI, I was in Coach Belichick's face at the locker room during halftime. Never put my hands on him, but I was fuming. Told him that we need to adjust better and run different sets. It was nothing personal or serious, we both knew that. He knew that I, and the rest of the team, just wanted to win and claw or way back. When you have players and personnel who are so invested in a high intensity moment they worked their entire lives for, emotions just come out. It is what it is.

Travis might have a big heart and be a descent guy, but he is an over grown immature 34 year old! He has the mentality of an 18 yr old! He owes his coach, team and owners a public apology for acting extremely immature! Kids look up to these guys, he needs to show more restraint and respect! He’s thrown two “baby” fits this season. Numerous coaches both in college and pros passed on him not because he is not an extremely talented athlete, which everyone knows he is, but because his immature tactics and wanting to be the center of attention at all times attitude they did not want the headaches to have to address on a constant bases. @@philliprailey7788 it is very easy for me to say! His immature, disrespectful and disregard for others off the field and having nothing to do with his talent on the field has been on public display numerous times. He is a 34 year old guy with the mentality of a 18/22 year old. Making excuses for someone that has an over competitive nature is one thing most upper tier athletes have extremely competitive natures! Travis’s major issues start at childhood levels. He defiantly has been coddled and pretty much they gave into him and let him have his way growing up. He has zero self-control when he is angry in the moment. Trust this will come out in other areas of his life, if he does not learn to channel his feelings in a more mature manner.

Coach Reid is one of the most beloved of all football coaches. To see Kelce throw a tantrum, like an 8 year-old, is yet further evidence of the much-ballyhooed Over Saturation quagmire that he has become enthralled with: the success of New Heights (Club Shay Shay is in fact better ranked and scored); the TV commercials; and sharing a romance with a billionairess pop star. Kelce's behavior felt "clinical": as if, had the Chiefs lost the game, he would have funked himself into depression. Get a grip, dude.

Congratulations KC fans. This is a Dynasty in the making. Even though I'm not a KC I enjoy watching this team consistently play the game the right way. Andy Reid clearly understands his players. It's impossible to hate this man. You may hate the Chiefs, but you gotta love Coach Reid. He really just needed a Snickers He protected Kelce like a great coach and leader he is Coach Reid. One of the greatest!! Congrats to him. 👏👏👏👏👏I love Andy Reid. Period. He is such a wonderful human! From a Niners Faithful lifelong die-hard congrats to the Chiefs, I Love Andy Reid!! He reminds me of my Grandpa. Always talking about those “Kids” he gets to coach. It’s sweet. for those looking for it. Forgot football for a second that stuff is self-explanatory Andy's just a great man who improves any kid's life he's involved in. Deserves all the accolades he gets Andy in Philly was one of my favorites. Glad he’s showcasing that he’s always been great. Andy made some great play calls today, but his best was BENCHING KADARIUS TONEY 😂😂This was an incredible challenge for The Chiefs but they overcame the adversity and showed up when it counted. Thank you 49ers, you gave us an amazing show tonight. Andy is such a good man. How Andy handles players and their actions at times is so classy. I love him for bringing Mecole back home, can't wait to see him after camp next year. Tammy wearing the previous two rings is a major flex. This what you call an amazing game battle of the Titans Andy did the same thing to Kelce against the Raiders on Xmas even benched him for a few plays I think that's how they pump each other up Andy's a class act Andy understands what it takes to win at the highest level and how to coach superstar players!!! Coach Reid is one heck of a coach. As Pat Mahomes said, he lets the guys be themselves and play to their strengths. He knows Travis Kelce inside out. Kelce didn’t offend him in the least…he shouted with the passion he’s always known for. As Coach says, they’re all “kids” to him. 🐑🐑🇳🇿🇳🇿NZ What a legend. The way he talks about his players. All love between him and Trav. They are very close off the field as well. Tensions are high and this is football, everyone is amped. You need to yell to even get anyone to hear you there anyway. He, didn't mean it to bump the guy, I think people are blowing this up for no reason Great to see old greats like Berman and Reid talking football. Congratulations Coach 🎉Andy Reid: a Philadelphia cheesesteak with pulled pork barbeque! 3 makes it officially a dynasty I love the friendship these two have two old men chopping it up. Sup Tammy! You’re the best. MFS said Kelce assaulted Reid... 😂😂😂😂They're obviously really close and good friends. It arguably won 2 Super Bowls and has gotten 3 flawless touchdowns in those games. the greatest coach of all time We love you, Andy😭❤❤NE Pats fan here who is loving watching the Chiefs. I’ve seen this act before and it’s a wonderful gift if you’re lucky enough to see it. I’ll be rooting for you guys for the long haul (except when you play the Pats.). He added mustard and ketchup to the corndog, and when the coach started talking corndogs. it's over. This is so wholesome 🤍He had his players back ❤ great coach Love this man. Uncle 2:06 Travvy messed up. Coach Reid: "It's a team."❤Congrats Andy Reid ... He does great under pressure...The Team takes a Stand and they go the Distance into Overtime just in time to get reloaded and put the finishing touches on the Drive. I love how he calls them all kids!!! LOL He is a LEGEND! Great Game congratulations ❤Kelce said "Aye Coach Taylor's watching" It did not look like he was yanking or pushing his arm. It looked like he walked up too fast and realized it and was holding on to the coach so he wouldn’t fall. Yes, he was pissed but if you really look at Travis’s arm he is holding him up and helping him regain his balance. Aww I love how they gave Tammy a mic lol and she didn't use it, was just so happy to be by her man Great job Andy 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏Coach is the best man. He puts a positive spin-off on it. I just hope we have this level of understanding when the “optics” are different…because we will see this again Such an awesome coach!! Coach Reid is a class act!! We, in KC, are very happy! We are a small Midwest market compared to others and looked down upon in a snobbish, childish way by some of the larger sports markets, but our team and city have heart. We support our sports teams 100%. The Chiefs had over 2 decades of taking, so we are so excited for this time in our franchise history, however long it lasts. We are hated on for no reason but we know how hard our guys play and if you're honest, you can see how they scratch and claw their way to these victories esp since we lose good players each year because we can't pay these high salaries. Yet, Reid and Mahomes make each new group work. Anyway, we are grateful for the Chief's efforts and don't take any of it for granted. How about those...CHIEFS?!! ❤💪🙏🏼If you a sports fan, you know this was nothing serious. Back in Superbowl LI, I was in Coach Belichick's face in the locker room during halftime. Honestly, respect to Andy Reid for keeping a level head when Travis blew up on the sideline. He understands the situation his team is in and that emotions are running high. His best player (outside of Mahomes please relax) was out of control and he didn't feed into it and make it worse. He knows who Travis is and what he can do, so he let those emotions run instead of shutting him down. Probably allowed Kelce and the rest of the team to lock in and get the dub. I hate the chiefs as much as the next guy, but Andy is a legend. Can't see another HC having that much patience with a player losing control like Travis did.
