Maybe it’s because he felt sorry about what he did to her because he knew that y/n really loved him. I think it’s good that Taehyung went to talk to her and was being honest about not being happy. If he didn’t do that it would’ve hurt the both of them even more staying in this kind of relationship. He wasn’t acting like an angry abusive man like you see in some other ff’s and I think that’s good. But he shouldn’t have told her that it was a mistake tho… he should’ve told her another way…

The man was not happy, and he wanted out of the marriage. There was nothing wrong with that. He got drunk and had s3x with his wife, unintentionally. he was honest and told her that it meant nothing to him because he was drunk. To him it was a mistake. He told y/n that he tried for a year to love her, but he just couldn't do it. He also told her there wasn't a third party involved. In this instance, what was he supposed to do? Remain unhappy? Stay with her until he cheated on her with someone else? Yes, y/n was hurt, but you cannot force love, and the man apologized for that lustful night and told her how he really felt as soon as the next morning..... in an understanding manner. He was honest with his feelings, but it was hurtful for y/n. Now, would he have felt that way if he knew about the pregnancy? He had no feelings for y/n, but he may have felt differently about his child and been willing to take responsibility. To him, y/n was a mistake, but learning about the child could have been a source of happiness for him. The divorce was inevitable, but whose to say he wouldn't have been there for his child?
