Jessy is away on business, but a plane crash puts him in a desperate situation. Isolated in an inhospitable Alaskan environment, he will have to face the freezing cold and fight to survive.
In addition to the horrible situation in which he finds himself, he will still have to deal with cannibal maniacs...

1. The human body can survive for weeks without food. 2. The average human weighs 160 pounds, average usable flesh is about half to 3/5 of that. 3. There were 2 bodies already dead. Martha and Jhon. 4. We see a total of 4 cannibals. 5. With Jhon and Martha's bodies, there was about 160 to 200 pounds of usable flesh. You can also use bones to make stock/soup. 6. They have a car. 7. They have working radios. 8. 160/4, is 40. 40-50 pounds of meat per person. That's absolutely plenty to last all winter. When the snow thaws, use the car to leave if you can't during winter due to ice or snow blocking you in. No need to kill Player Character. Unnecessary risk when he has a gun. 9. Why did Player get out of the car? How did they pull him from the car if the doors were locked? Why was he going so slow? He has a gun.. If you're killing him because he took the car, you'd risk damaging it with your axes getting him out against his will. Also that takes time, time for him to shoot you in the face. Good premise. Moderately fun game play. Absolutely terrible joke of an ending.

I do like the concept off these games from these devs, the stories. But you are right. If they would put a little more time in polishing their games instead off mass producing them they could be so much better.

1:11 I can totally imagine the protagonist flying on that plane in the beginning and speaking out loud: "So, here we are flying to Alaska.... and, how long do you suppose it might be before things go wrong? I'd give it like 5 seconds". Then people look weirdly at him. *6 SECONDS LATER...* *EXPLOSION* And then he laughs and smiles and tells the person sitting next to him: "Oh, I wasn't too far off to be honest *laughs*". And as people in the plane are going mad, the protagonist calmly adds: "Okay, the plane is going down. And it's going down quick" as he's watching through the window and the sides of the plane, on fire.

I'm coming around the the idea the spelling errors MUST be intentional. When you found 'Jhon's' corpse, the annotation remarking on his death was spelled 'John'...even though the name on the body was STILL 'Jhon'. They must be taking the piss.

Dang! John be packing! He's got a bloody Glock 18! That thing is worth a couple of thousand dollars. A fully automatic machine pistol. What was John? Some sort of secret squirrel fedboi, those things ain't easy to get in the US. Lol It's pretty funny, though. This is the second time that I'm aware of, where you played a game that substitutes the G17 for a G18. Harthorn also did. And oddly enough, they're both the gen 2 model. I wonder if a gen 2 G18 asset is easier to find than a G17 asset is. Although, realistically, John should have had something a bit heavier than 9mm for Alaska. If this was set in the '90s/early 2000s, you'd probably be looking at some sort of Magnum revolver. Nowadays, you would probably be seeing a 10mm Glock. Planes in Alaska are also required to carry survival equipment. In this case, the plane that crashed should have had a minimum of one weeks worth of rations for every passenger, an axe or hatchet, a first aid kit, a fishing kit, a knife, a fire starter, a mosquito headnet for each occupant, and two signalling devices. And since the crash took place in winter, the plane is supposed to have even more stuff. But that gun still bothers me. 9mm is sufficient for bears and two legged threats, but that G18 model, whoo boy. I pity the bear that decides to tussle with someone who has a G18 on them. Lol

drinking water? uh....all of the pure snow outside? and inside though it doesn't make sense how it got like that. yeah martha going cannibal like she did made no sense...unless she and her husband were secretly part of them the entire time and lure people here. and since he was in bad shape.he was no longer useful. sad thing is. if they just want to survive...don't stay in this area! travel to a warmer climate with civilization! or just a warmer area near a source of drinkable water.

I like the music and old style aesthetics in these games. I agree that they could do a bit more polishing before release. Definitely an improvement on Midnight Tales vol 2. I'll be interested to see what this Developer releases next.

You talked about what you’d like to see in indie games in here a lil bit… and what I’d love to see is a good UI. They could work on some decent UI and then reuse it with minor edits on their next games. Same with the inventory system. If you’re gonna have 4 items you can simply have the middle mouse button as item wheel. Also why does it ask if you wanna take items? Lol

Well, the ending sucked. Period. I don't like games where you're just going to die no matter what you do. I will say the twist at the end was pretty good, but the whole bullet sponge thing is BS. Game was okay, but, you're right, it should have been one of the entries in the second series of Midnight Tales. Would've fit perfectly there. Oh, well, you give us quality entertainment, regardless of how good, or bad, the game is, and I thank you for that.
