I absolutely love this drama! To those hesitant about watching because of the brother thing, they are not blood related. Also, if you get past that, the family issues and the different kinds of families you see in this drama make it such a great drama. You don't see just happy families. You see families with problems and broken families learning to heal. It's a wonderful drama. Also, a small and random thing I noticed in the drama was that the main girl is sometimes seen wearing the same shirt a couple of times. Which is a good thing. It feels real. It doesn't feel like the dramas where the girl is supposedly poor or middle class yet constantly uses a different bag every time we see her. (I'm letting go of the ones where the poor girl is using the latest phone since that is sponsorships or product placements, and we can't really say much about that. I mean, the drama needs the money from that to even exist. 😂) I really appreciated that little detail of the main girl's wardrobe. Anyway, I highly recommend this drama. BTW, it is called Go Ahead. He was very pitiful. 1.The reason he wanted to marry the girl was cause he wanted a lifelong relationship with the people that never abandoned him. His mom was a very selfish woman, she left her husband and son. ( cause the husband had become poor) and got married abroad. That girl was there and she took him home so they ended up being raised together by the girl's dad and the guy's dad. 2.Then the mom had an accident which killed her husband and left her disabled, so the son was forced to drop everything and move abroad to take care of her ( he was about to finish high school or was done.. Can't remember but just before going to college). 3. She emotionally abused him for years by destroying any physical reminders of the family he grew up especially the girl. She would throw massive tantrums ( one time she ended up throwing hot porridge on his back). The guy ended up clinically depressed plus insomnia and he took meds but lied that they were vitamins. 4. He lied to the mom and returned to the country inorder to be with his family again but the girl held a grudge cause she thought he had chosen not to communicate with him when he was abroad and other reasons. 5. The mom found out and followed him and tried to manipulate him so that he separates from his family and stays with her. She was toxic af. I hated her for being so selfish Its been a longtime since I watched the drama but you get the picture. Hope you watched it or get the opportunity to. Its very touching.
