Again this is why you listen to your husband about your so called friends. Your husband puts up boundaries for reasons and this is one of the case's the wife gets S/A and sometimes it's the girl friend pimping you out with out your knowledge to destroy your marriage. When you get into a relationship it's the two of you Against the world not me me me
@eleethtahgra78024 ай бұрын
It goes both ways. Women would have their instinct screaming alarm when their man is being poached. Same with men. We should listen to our spouse in matters like this The trouble is the phrase that's often used is "I m not comfortable with u going with him" not "I don't want u going with him". The problem is...women only spent time with men they are interested in. To those they aren't interested, theyd consider the men creepy. While interesting men (n women) pop out now n then, it's best to treat it like window shopping....instead of entering the store n check the price tag. N thus, if she decide to spend time with other guy(s), it's similar with entering the store n check the price tags. She'd be tempted to buy or try the product...shed be tempted to cheat.

Trust is a word being misused in the early part of this story. A wife who through deception misuses pronouns has already caused a trust issue. I remember a case a few years ago where a wife did this with a man whose first name was Carroll with whom she had been working. The marriage was saved because the wife's sister chased her across Hampton Roads in Virginia, but the wife had to do a lot of repair work.

I know it's not right to blame the victim in general, but come on, Elaine had it coming. She deserves her retribution, she never informed her husband her date was a guy. she kissed him on exit from her house in front of her husband and knew he was angry she was going out despite that she went anyway. any woman must know you dont go out on dates when your married. and you dont let any man get you a drink while your not watching. never leave your drink un attended or you could wake up in this situation. drugged or not she should never have gone on a date being married simple as that.

That 30-year Veteran detective was right on. After that part where he advised the OP to not go after "Connie," I imagined myself sitting on a jury. If the prosecutor did not have a lesser included charge that man would walk or the jury would be hopelessly hung. I look at it this way. Why harm a Tiger for attacking someone who stupidly opened the enclosure and entered it? As long as have to assign some blame to the wife here, I could NEVER convict that man for the R word!
@eleethtahgra78024 ай бұрын
And as per the rule....the tiger would be euthanized. Nice analogy tho.

@@eleethtahgra7802 I know that comment makes me sound like a monster. Again I am thinking like a member of the Jury sitting in Judgement of "Connie". Yes, he committed a crime and should be punished as the law allows. The problem to me is this crime would never have happened had the wife stayed at home. This means she has a % of the blame and as long as this is the case I will never find guilt for the R word.

@@eleethtahgra7802 This subject is a swamp where you can get lost if not careful. As it is there is far too much victim blaming. As it happens I do know of several situations where young daughters were slipped mickeys. The first one happened at the University of Georgia in one of the frat houses. A 16-year-old girl has no business being at a college frat house during a party where alcohol is being served. Then the girl was again victimized by the ACCPD who blamed her. The people who ran UGA at the time ignored what happened. Today she is in her 40s and doing OK. Here is where I separate the situation in this story from your examples. It is stupid to not lock up your home and vehicles. Not much you can do to avoid being mugged these days except to try to stay out of bad places and always be aware. In this story a wife walked out of her home and went out with a man. Then violated one of the cardinal don'ts I can think of. You never under any circumstances accept an open drink from somebody in a place where you don't have any close friends you have known for years. If your attention is not on the glass or container keep your hand over it. When a person is harmed because of their reckless behavior sadly they do bear some of the blame. Many years ago a female in Texas I think it may have been Tyler was walking across a Walmart parking lot at night alone. They found what was left of her several days later hundreds of miles West of Tyler. In the case of this story. If "Connie" had a good Attorney their defense most likely would put the victim on trial. If they succeed in getting at least one person on that Jury to assign partial blame they are going to come back hung or find guilt for a lesser included charge. My GF spent 17 years as a prosecutor, she told me many times they would include lesser charges to save a case and get a conviction in these types of cases.

@@THE-michaelmyersso suppose say your sister meets a new guy and goes out on a date. She doesn't know that he's a piece of trash carrying date rape drugs on him and she only intended to meet him for a date, nothing more. The guy slips your sister a drug, had her way with her. Would you still feel the same way then? The thing is sometimes we trust the wrong people. Ofcourse in this story the wife was absolutely stupid for lying to her husband and going out on a date with another man. But my point is, we don't know what kinds of monsters are lurking out there and it seems the justice system isn't nearly strict enough and allows people like that to walk freely.
