To explain the course of actions here First we are shown a part of the man's life long after his humiliation and future where he is being sold as a fancy lamp. It then cuts away to him regressing due to a rebirth ability where it's the first day of school and he has a large need to get revenge. Later we see that the future seeing Dean of the school bought him in the future before regression knowing the truth of his ability and dissected him to attempt taking it and sealing it. Now back in the regression he reminisced about that as he was now enacting the plans and revenge he wants so bad
