Important/Interesting Notes: - He was Held captive For roughly 26 years, Not 27 - His Dog was known to alert to the neighbour's property For atleast a month after His disappearance, untill He was poisoned, presumably by the neighbour - the Brother who revealed it did Not do so to Police, afaik, but rather Made elusions to this on social Media, Leading to the Report - at Points, Omar was able to See His Family through Windows in their Home - Omar never called For Help or attempted to escape. He Claims that it was because of a spell cast on him by the neighbour, but presumably it's a psychological Thing. - Omar is Well, given the circumstances, and recovering in Hospital - the neighbour lived alone, hence noone knew, and the basement, a Kind of goatshed, was pre-existing. - Motive is as of yet unknown - the neighbour is currently about 61 years of age

It will never cease to amaze me how some men will overlook and even justify their family/friend being an abuser, p*edo📁, cheater, etc as long as they’re on good terms. The second that family member/ friend wrongs them, the man will condemn them and suddenly say what their family/friend did was wrong, like they just realised it.

These are horrible … I’ve seen several tales of these horrible kidnapping. It’s usually ends in sexual desire and torture for the victim ..

I seriously tried to understand why people do such awful things like this to others, but i gave up trying to understand it a long time ago they are just pure evil through and through and sometimes evil doesn't need an explanation it just is.

How can someone destroy someone's life like this? Someone lost 27 years of their life and now they'll have to learn to live normally all over again.
