One detail I really like about her leaving the order is that it is revealed that in a way, the Jedi Order does not care about her beyond the power she possesses for them. But individual Jedi do care about her. What I mean is that Plo Koon is the only Jedi Council member who actually apologized to her. Saesee Tiin and Mace Windu both claimed that that experience was a trial that "the force" willed them to put upon her. Obi Wan was also about to follow Anakin out the door to say goodbye to Ahsoka, but Plo Koon stopped him. To me, this reinforces the fact that Plo Koon, Obi Wan and Anakin were the only Jedi who really cared about doing what was right for her and the rest saw her as a tool for the Jedi Order.

In the end , ironically , it was the Jedi that turned Anakin to the darkside. He was let down by the very people trying to help him. The real tragedy is not Anakin's fall to the darkside , but the failure of the Order that pushed him away.

How great that in hindsight all this was needed for Anakin to become one with the force in its entirety. Embodying the entire spectrum of both the light and the dark. One of my favorite things about Anakin and Ahsoka's relationship is how he basically raised her to be the best version of himself. She grew to have many of his best qualities, and few of his worst ones. She's proof of the tragedy that had Anakin not let the darkness in him win, he could have in another life been a fine parent. Apparently we can look forward to a new series about Asoka and more appearances from Luke, and this begs the question: "Will we witness a meeting between Asoka and Luke?" Asoka never knew that her beloved master redeemed himself and helped Luke bring down the Emperor, and it would be so good to have her learn this from Luke himself. It is unfortunate that Anakin’s fall to the dark side made things sad for both of them in addition to Ashoka’s wrongful persecution by the Jedi. You can tell even as Darth Vader for a moment Anakin was sad and halted but then felt he must accept his fate as a Sith and continued to battle her.

@yournobody64872 жыл бұрын
I think thats kinda the whole point of star wars...both extremes of the belief systems of force users be it jedi or sith are both inherently flawed by lacking some of the others teaching. The force isnt inherently good or evil it simply follows the will of those strong enough to wield it. Which is why a character such as Revan was as powerful as he was because he sat in the middle where the true balance exists within the force using it to its fully potential and combining the teachings of both jedi and sith.

Hiding ones emotions is not healthy. I can realate so much as a person with depression for many many years. I become so irritated and angry without knowing it so I know 100% how Anakin feels. @@yournobody6487 That is not at all true about Revan, people who use him as an example of balance don’t understand that Revan failed in his attempt to balance both sides. That line of thinking has been discredited so many times in Legends and Canon. You cannot use both sides of the force without eventually falling to the darkness, the point of Revan is that he tried doing so post Kotor but started falling back into the same trappings that turned him to the dark side in the first place. The entire reason we have the Jedi in The Okd Republic material featuring Revan is that they tried using both sides in their first incarnation and it failed spectacularly.

Instead of showing how the light side could be bad and bring problems as well as how the dark side could lead to life through the disruptions it created, he chose to separate them the same thing that the sith and republic jedi did as their mistake. You guys need to realize that Lucasfilm is making the bulk of the creative decisions with Star Wars ever since it was bought by Disney. Rian Johnson and JJ Abrams clashing with each other over the sequels is an example of poor decision making by the creatives behind the sequels. The animated and live action shows have better creative decisions, although they do and will have flaws. Disney has the money to invest in and support the new projects created and helmed by Lucasfilm. Point is that Disney is often criticized (which is understandable), however Lucasfilm should be criticized as well.

The people who supposedly cared about him were telling him it's ok for you to let the people you care about die, be charged with and convicted of crimes they didn't commit, and you were wrong for caring about them in the first place.

Ahsoka is the first time anakin saw how the council was truly corrupted. They loathed, despised and feared change. They would make an example out of their own sister and protecter regardless of innocence to protect their public image.

Poor Anakin. Everyone either leaves, dies, or leaves him to die.

This fills in a lot of gaps for those of us who never watched Clone Wars and Rebels and are currently watching Ahsoka.

Losing Ashoka was one of the final nails in the coffin for Anakins path to the dark side. They were such a good team.

This turned up in my recommended randomly and I do not regret it. Ahsoka is one of my favorite characters ever, her development is amazing and you know it is cuz Anakin was an amazing teacher and he cared so much for her, it's heartbreaking. It's even more heartbreaking when you realize Palpatine was the one most likely who orchestrated when she was framed. Another thing Palpatine did to make Anakin inch closer and closer to the dark side. Anakin is also a character I really love because his story truly is heartbreaking. My love for Star Wars will never fade

I like how we all were SURE Ashoka was going to die during order 66, and slowly and surely they carved a path for her to basically be the new Mara Jade.

Anakin went through so much pain, grief and sadness that ultimately turned him, he felt betrayed by everyone and kept losing the people he loved the most.

I couldn't like this enough so I tell you I love this! Love the way this was put together to tell the beginning of honestly my favorite Star Wars character and my favorite story in the entire franchise, The Clone Wars. Ahsoka is so powerful and I really appreciate that you put the part when the Daughter gave it's life essence to her, which I think makes her of the strongest users of the force. Her whole story is pure gold of actual great writing!
