Just a little flickering match of hope can be all one needs. I got my hope through my daughter being born, and now I’m bout to graduate college (finally went back to finish my degree at 34), and have all kinds if life plan that I previously didn’t bother with. I’ve had my match of hope relit by kind random acts like these before my daughter’s existence sustained my hope. So it definitely will impact this man well.

When he said he had suicidal thoughts and didn’t want to wake up this morning, it broke my heart. I understand depression, I understand anxiety. I understand feeling hopeless. Life can be extremely hard, and the challenges we face can easily bring us to our knees. But, it’s so obvious this young man has a beautiful heart, and he’s trying so hard to reach goals- I’m proud of him. You’re not weak when you suffer with depression… you’re actually stronger than anyone else could imagine. I’m so thankful he’s alive.
