He Was Rushed To Hospital?! Rescuing A FILTHY Paved Patio With ZERO DRAINAGE

During their own pressure washing attempt my lovely customer fell ill and needed to go to hospital, leaving this beautiful patio unfinished and in need of a clean.
I offered to power wash it and help take the weight of the job off of their shoulders and I am so glad I did! What a result!

A great trick I learned from an Aussie lawn care KZbinr (Blademate) is to use a leaf blower to blast the water out of the pooling area and then rinse the splatter off the fence and plants afterward. It’s a lot faster, more thorough, and isn’t as hard on one’s back. “Neighbor”

I am almost smack dab in the middle of the USA and love watching your channel! You got me looking at how grungy my own patio and brick planters are. We moved in 2022 and I’d never really thought about it. Had to go out and buy my own pressure washer, while my husband shook his head at me. 😂

Excellent result. I wonder if the homeowner could somehow make an opening in that corner where the water pools and let it drain into the bed potentially solving the drainage issue. Just a thought.

As someone who had serius health issues and had to be hospitalised haveing to even think of watering flowers picking up post ect is to be dealth with is stressful to have on your mind while dealing with illness so just imagine how much haveing to not think of guarden stuff like you cleaned means massive if not even more to that person

The owner was doing a good job on the patio. Sorry they fell ill. Very nice you decided to come and get the place caught-up. Hadn't paid much attention to that there were variations of spelling neighbor. Pleased the one next door was inspired to work on his place as well. Like the colors/colours coming up in the brick. Enjoyed your dustpan removal of backed-up water. Nice the customer thought of telling you there was a drainage problem. Liked the bright capstone on the bricks and the overall clean result. Cleaning the windows was a nice treat. Had an observation, though I don't know the answer. Large jobs seem to have different variables than small ones. You can go to them and work steadily, rather then set-up and take-down several times in a day. But, the lack of a break, mentally as with travel, and physically with resting periods, means that a big job becomes more strenuous. They are more hours, longer hours, and potentially need more time allowed to do them, day after day. The equipment may have more wear-and-tear.

@@ScratchyBaws in part. But the entire back patio is a full foot lower than the lawn. It's in a depression and can never drain naturally. It depends on internal slope and clear drain lines or it will fill like a bucket.

There was a 'drain' down the stairs. Unfortunately it was simply a block removed and a fake grate put there.. I have no idea how it was supposed to drain Catherine. An odd one in such a beautiful garden.
