nice haul. Went to a yard sale this weekend. of course I asked do you have any video games etc... He brings out a very large tub. In the tub was a Wii with 4 controllers (with rubber covers) 2 rechargeable batteries (with recharging stand), 22 games (2 mario karts, 1 wii sports 1 wii resort sports), 4 nunchucks, 2 guitar hero guitars (Les Paul and Sunburst), complete rock band drum kit , 2 microphones 2 steering wheels 80 bucks :)

Red Wing is a BOLO for sure! I bought a pair in 2004 and still have them and are in good condition. I have sold two pairs in the past that I thrifted that were in trash condition for like $65. Great quality and sales really fast.

My dad wore Red Wing work boots to school every day when he taught wood & metal shop. I would go with him every year or so to get them re-soled at our local Red Wing store. I always asked why he didn't just get a new pair but then he showed me how much a new pair cost and I understood! Although he kept his in really nice shape. My son also has his old Nintendo DS with a few games, along with his old Wii and Xbox that he's holding onto. He also has that Mario game you showed that's worth over $100 (without the box). I love watching your videos so I know what items are worth!

I love your font I think the boots are my favorite because they’re such great quality and what a awesome find for that price. I am surprised that they give up his and he has system I have my first one and I still can’t get rid of it so many years later but I do have that problem that do you have to blow into the games LOL (probably never does anything) will have to try to take it apart and clean it I’ll figure out how that all works

Nice video! That Japanese item @17.10 looks like a Hanko. Just listened to a podcast about them. Its a common way for Japanese people to sign documents. Although with the English name on there too it looks like a tourist piece.

Your camera died do you take two batteries with you when you go out to thrift? Your phone works great you can always switch to that. I learned so much from the way you thrift you pick up items that I don't see most resellers picking up so really appreciate it when you go the extra mile to record when you thrift. The stamp looks like a personal seal (called hanko in Japan, not sure what it would be called in China). You pretty much use it in place of a signature. Or it could just be a souvenier stamp haha

It has nothing to do with how I look. It’s just more natural to look at something moving then at a stationary lens. Just like a phone screen try filming a video looking at your front facing camera and not looking at yourself in the screen. It’s just less natural feeling. Try making a decently long video yourself and see how it goes 👍

A camera doesn’t talk back you are only seeing a black lens and yourself. So obviously it’s going to be more natural to look at the thing moving. It’s how our eyes work. Again try filming a long video of yourself in your front facing camera and I guarantee you glance down at yourself in the screen.
