That stuff on the ground at 15:42 looks very much like a smartphone on the left (partially obscured by rocks, screen dirty if facing up; might be upside-down) and on the right (the blue thing) what might be some sort of bag (perhaps for the phone; if it's a bag, it seems damaged), and left of the smartphone-looking object there's what looks like two AA or AAA batteries (next to a rock that's about the same length as the phone; one battery is below the rock, the other above the rock; the batteries are facing opposite directions; they're visually reminiscent of Duracells but with the color order reversed; the batteries are hard to see on a normal-sized 1080p monitor and still hard to see on a 4K one unless the monitor is physically very large, but you can easily see them on a 1080p display with the video set to 4K if you do Shift+Ctrl+M in Firefox and enter a res slightly above 4K - like for example 3980x2400 - which enables you to see the entire 4K video frame at its true 3840x2160 size when in fullscreen despite being on a 1080p monitor, and you can easily see them on a 4K monitor by taking a screenshot with the video set to 4K and then enlarging that screenshot). Not so sure about the blue bag-like object, but that definitely looks like batteries and a smartphone.
@ColoradoFamilyof55 ай бұрын
Definitely a smart phone.... Scary if all the items add up to something bad happened.
@__________Anonymous__________5 ай бұрын
I'm like 75% sure that's a smartphone. It might all just be rocks etc, but considering those rounded corners combined with the dimensions it looks very much like a smartphone. I'm not trying to see smartphones and I can't assert with any certainty that the following object is one, however I later noticed from 13:23 to 13:25 in the water there's another smartphone-shaped object. This object is much harder to be sure about due to being muddier and due to the visual distortions caused by the water. Due to the water distortion, it looks more like a smartphone while the video is in motion than when paused. Can't be very sure about this one. This one has a greater chance of simply being a rock. However the dimensions are right for a smartphone and so is the size as we can see for a few frames when he has his hand next to it (keep in mind his hand is a little bit closer to us and the object a little bit lower down, so if he held it then it would appear slightly bigger, and while things look larger submerged in water when looking down from above the surface there's probably extremely little of that going on there as it seems to be _just_ under the surface of the water so the object's real size is probably very close to the way it appears). Only noticed this second smartphone-shaped object because I later went to a timestamp left by another commenter for what he thought is a corpse, and then I let the video play for a bit and just happened to notice the smartphone-shape in the water. The corpse-like thing is about 52 seconds earlier at 12:31 - 12:32 at the top of the frame. I see what he means; certainly a part of that looks feet-like as he said and there's an outline of the shape of a body, but can't really be sure if it's a corpse or just rocks. Leaning towards it not being a corpse (but not ruling it out). Much more sure about the other stuff, especially the first smartphone-object. However it's peculiar that the improvised torch is so close by. Perhaps multiple individuals got lost in the dark in the cave and dropped their smartphones. Perhaps they used them for light and the batteries ran out, or they were attacked by an animal (or another human) and simply dropped them. Not trying to make things spooky. I have to say the red color being blood seems very silly. If he genuinely thought it might be blood (and wasn't saying that to create spooky content for more views), that was likely his fear messing with his mind, with his reasoning, with his judgement. Blood quickly turns dark. And there's no way blood would look like that in such a location even if super fresh. Much more likely to be paint, or even just an unusual reddish rock. Another commenter said it might be red paint to mark a dead end. That might be the case, as he missed a white arrow earlier - between 9:45 to 9:52 - pointing the opposite direction that he went. I'm not saying his fear was irrational or unfounded, however. He might've had good reasons to be afraid. Maybe he even subconsciously sensed something bad had happened in the cave. And there might very well have been a predatory animal in the cave at the time. But the red color being blood is extremely unlikely. Would be really interesting to see what's on that first smartphone, if it really is one. If it's a smartphone in the water, that one is probably too destroyed to work. Would be cool if he returned to this cave (armed and in company, to dispel his fears) and properly checks _all_ these objects out. Would also be cool if he uploaded an uncut version (or at least an "extended" version) of this video on ActionAdventureClips as there might be more things to notice that's not in this shortened video.

Once you're wet I don't know if there are dropoffs but I have never gone in the water. You can't see much but for sure it goes back a ways, there is still old machinery far back there. @ARCavingandOutdoors5 ай бұрын
You guys are always welcomed to come to my house. There's a big cave down the road from me that I've heard it connects to another cave system. There is a crawl and on the other side, you can hear a massive amount of water roaring. I didn't have my pads when I found the crawl way. There was a lot of broken glass and sharp rocks in it. It also has a collapsed entrance making it having two entrance points.
@rockwoodoneforever7732Ай бұрын
There were a couple of 'dudes' but that was OK, lol. Always trust your instincts. It took me 40 years to learn that. I always say that to be a caver, you've got to be a little crazy. Who sane person would say, 'hey, look at that crack in the rock, I wonder if I can squeeze in there and see where it goes?' Great short tour, and no, should never go caving alone, and especially without telling someone when you'd be back. I watched the cave with the rain earlier, so now you've shown three things that a caver should never do - go caving alone, don't tell someone when you will be getting back, and caving when it's going to rain, especially in a wet cave. I'm glad that you're ok, though. Thanks!

Thanks for the content. Hard to believe there are people losing sleep, having nightmares, and unsubscribing over this video. Everyday there are people entering caves alone and doing basic scouting. Is it risky, heck yes. We all take risks. Getting behind the wheel is a risk. An animal attack, in theory, could kill or injure every caver if there were more people. Clearly advice was given that you shouldn't go alone and you should have a call out. I assume there was a backup battery or spare headlamp which is the only essential for caving. Again, thanks for the content and giving people a taste of what it can be like to cave alone. The distorted angles make it hard to know if there was spraypaint or blood but it was probably more apparent in person. If you aren't sure then there is no harm in retreating. Nobody is obligated to investigate despite what people will say. Glad you made it out and I look forward to another adventure...hopefully the same cave. I assume you wouldn't fire a gun in a cave unless absolutely necessary since it could damage your eardrum and possibly ricochet near you and injure you (very unlikely). I always think about bringing a gun but never do. Bear spray in cave is a horrible idea since it's almost guaranteed to affect you since air usually blows out of the cave in the direction you plan to travel. Possibly you could spray at a target coming in after you but not one further in the cave without major risk to yourself. If you would have died, at least you would have been doing something you are passionate about. You wouldn't be the first, nor the last, you would just be one of the more talked about because of your channel. Being near fearless comes with a price but it's hard to substitute the adrenaline rush. I get it. I cave alone at times and it is a thrill that I could live without but it's hard when local grottos become good old boy clubs. Can't stop, won't stop.

12:32 Is it just me or does it look like there's skeleton legs and feet here. The one on the bottom looks like a rainboot thats frayed at the top, with a rock partially on the ankle area, and then another leg/foot right above it that looks like the toes are curled and the leg has been badly broken (needless to say). There's a whole bunch of odd looking fragments all in that area, and it could absolutely be pareidolia, but that in conjunction with the abandoned torch and weird knife thing, not to mention that red spot...idk...and the way ppl can get hurt and just covered in mud down there until you cant even tell what you're looking at...it just gives me goosebumps and makes me question everything I'm seeing. Anybody else see that? (Btw, i had to play it at .25x to catch it. I had initially slowed it down to check out the torch and caught this instead)

3:58…..actually, broke 3 rules. 1) Never go caving alone; 2) Always let someone on the surface know when you’ll exit; 3) Be adequately equipped (I presume his pack held additional gear). One outstanding curiosity and question-- If you’re going to drive 5 hours (one way?) for a cave, why would you not come fully equipped and with a group just in case it was a going cave? 10 hours round trip travel time and to be that hastily/scantly prepared? Maybe everything encountered in the cave was happenstance, but the ingredients build into the following subplot……a mystery commenter gives cave location…….totally alone on the trip………animal tracks, scat, remnant torch, dilapidated knife, red coloration on a distant wall (no reason to conclude it to be blood at that point)……all leads to intrigue, a catchy title and potential future content. Mind you, any of those elements alone can be encountered in a cave. While we don’t know what led you to your being alone for this trip, you made us watch!
