Then, look into internships while you’re in whatever program you choose. The more experience, the better! Networking is a must as well! Good luck 👍🏽

This is pure talent. Love to see the versatility in barbering. This was a really good cut on him. Boy you sure did him a solid, I kNo he appreciates that. It is when you don't have 'gifted' hair that you so need a gifted stylist / barber - a great cut makes ALL the difference. I gotta thank you FOR him! Interior design / shadow work doula.
@blueclarity
@blueclarity 6 ай бұрын
Shadow work doula? That sounds fascinating and I'm not even sure what it is. I've been interested in being a death doula and I'm on my journey and know what shadow work is but I can't quite put the 2 together. Is there an easy way to explain it?
@feelthepeace
@feelthepeace 6 ай бұрын
@blueclarity The shadow/doula work unfolds through the medium of interior design; think 'art therapy.' The Shadow ('a part of the unconscious mind that contains the qualities, thoughts, and impulses that we deny or disown, often because they are considered unacceptable or taboo by society') is a concept developed by Swiss psychiatrist, psychotherapist and psychologist, Carl Jung. Here are a couple quotes from his work (books he's authored): "There is no light without shadow and no psychic wholeness without imperfection," "Everyone carries a shadow and the less it is embodied in the individual's conscious life the blacker and denser it is." 'In short, the shadow (in analytical psychology) is the self's emotional blind spot - the part the ego does not want to acknowledge.' In the context of interior design working with the ego shadow I assist my client to create a space that reflects his/her true self; acknowledging and embracing his/her darker aspects. Utilizing the elements of design such as bold colors, textures, and patterns that evoke emotions and stimulate self-reflection, I assist my client in his/her development of a well designed space that helps him to confront and integrate the aspects of the shadow self. The doula aspect to this design-consulting process is really fun, exciting and a unique challenge unto each man or woman I have the opportunity to work together with, or serve. My role is to help 'you', my fellow of mankind, to connect with the higher, soul essence bringing that light to the shadow or the ego self; integrating the ethereal energies with the physical. I have done work as a death doula also. Any doula service or 'tradition of support' is a highly rewarding path. Thank you so much for asking! 🙂 Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. 🕊🫶💪🪷

Sadly I can no longer work. Health wise it’s just not possible. It leaves a big empty hole. Many ppl think & have said I’m lucky. Please no one think that! You lose a sense of self & feel alone & useless. That said, I trained to be a nurse. I only worked a short time in that field. Ppl didn’t want to hire a pregnant woman. So I started to do daycare. We moved, I ended up with 8 kids besides my own. They came at staggered times & I offered evening & overnight care as well. We moved. I got a jog as a temp, so I could work around my kids days off. Later after I was hired full time. I became a planner & was part of the health & safety team. Then my heath started to decline. Now well as I said I feel useless. I love this hair style!! It really works with his hair, it should be easy to keep up & you r a genius!! ❤❤

As a woman, have always had hair like this young man. When I was young (late teens), I used a similar hairdo. My hair is very thin and soft, not a curl (!), and nothing sticks, unless I use a can of extreme hold hairspray. So about 7-8 years ago, I was DONE using products that strips my hair of the natural softness and vitality, I stopped using perm to have curls, and also stopped using any colouring products. I went for my natural hair, and the only product used, was a tiny bit of Maroccon oil, for light hair, and my hair, and scalp, started to feel better. Still can not have long hair, but a layered short bob works for me. Now, I really like my own haircolour, and not a grey hair. (I am 62 yrs old) Both of my parents are over 80 yrs old, and neither have grey hairs! Gone genes! 😊

I work in e-vehicle manufacturing plant doing paint production and watch your Vids as a nice escape from reality on my breaks eating snacks and watching KZbin vids. Taught myself how to do my own fade from watching yur techniques. Shoutout from the SF Bay Area 🫶
