To be honest I do not recall another time I’ve made a youtube comment and I am not one to typically give my unsolicited opinion online. But I just have to say this. You guys have taken a huge step back in my opinion, and you need to change something if you want to stay relevant in the world of youtube golf. While you guys claim you ‘started’ youtube golf, which I don’t think is true, there is no denying you guys have been successful pioneers in this space. You were the first to do the average golfers playing pros model, and I think your productions have had great influence on others. With that said, you are now so far surpassed by many other groups. You are competing with multiple channels whose videos come out more often, are more entertaining, showcase better golf and receive huge amounts more views than what you are producing. Frankie starts off the show speaking about how amazing and phenomenal your new content is as per usual, meanwhile those two huge ‘blockbuster’ videos combined don’t have the number of views of a single, average, weekly bobs does sports video. You are not hitting the pulse as much as you seem to think you are. I have listened to Frankie speak many times over towards the direction this channel has decided to go - making high level productions. Your productions are fantastic, and fans such as myself do appreciate them. However, they just don’t need to be as good as you’re making them. Your competitors have found a way to make productions that are about 95% as aesthetically pleasing with fewer people on their crew and a MUCH faster turnover rate. Sacrificing more videos for ‘higher quality’ ones has been a dumb decision from a pure dollars and cents perspective, and in my opinion, also artistically. Beyond that, your podcast has become stale. You guys are very insular. You talk about yourselves, you talk about barstool, and that’s pretty much it. As the self-proclaimed ‘starters’ of youtube golf, you guys hardly ever talk about what is happening in the world of youtube golf outside of your immediate sphere of influence. I believe this has been a conscious decision to not give them free advertising, but once again, this is short sighted on your part. Your podcast brand has always been to talk about golf in a more casual sense, and now we have huge amounts of casual content to be consumed, and you refuse to talk about it. You could’ve carved out another niche where you talk about the inner working of the youtube golf world, and you didn’t. I could say a lot more, but I’ve said enough already for some dumb comment you won’t even read. I have been a fan of you guys for a long time. I’m out for the time being. Your formula is simple - play golf often, film it, and put out videos on at least a weekly basis. You start doing this, I will watch. Other than that, I will pay no attention to you. I am done listening to the podcast, and since there is so much other better youtube golf content, I’m done watching your videos too. Thank you for the content you have provided, and I only speak these criticisms from the place of a fan who wants you guys to succeed. But for the time being you’ve lost me, and based on your numbers, I am not the only one who feels this way

If you all watch Rory’s full presser he addresses pace of play much more in depth. He says for many reasons pace cannot be sped up that much more than it already is without making drastic changes to the game. Could maybe shave off 15-20 min per round.

Why are they so obsessed with pace of play in pro golf?? The cameras can easily cut to and from shots. This makes no sense. A slow pace of play allows for the viewer to see more players golf shot's. Foreplay didnt give a damn about this until they cut the field sizes, which directly affected their boy Alistair Docherty. 3 years ago they were complaining about seeing "no name" players on their TV.

I read his reply, he responded with Jack's 11 season vs Tiger's 11, to respond to the point made in the previous podcast, which I have seen him (or who I guess was him) use on FB on Golf Digest debate threads, so he already had that response prepared, he is copy and paste. I asked AI what was Jack's best 11 season winning streak, and they added major wins to the pga wins, which is not how it is calculated, the majors are part of the total wins, so there is no way AI generated that info in his answers, he had to have known his Jack stats.. It appears he seen all the basic points made in the debate, and he spent a lot of time crafting a response to each one, if he used some kind of spellcheck or other formatting program which is what most journalists use today, it wouldn't make his points not valid, but explains why he feels this format makes him unbeatable.

I looked at his replies, and I know a lot about AI and that is not AI he is using, with statements like, Tiger fans act like mad scientists in a cellar with diagrams, it's a pissed off comment , AI does not generate that kind of human emotion. He also quotes a video link he provided "He eventually hits the green as you hear “that could be the one “, with a modern golf ball." AI doesn't analyze KZbin links. He provides the same responses all the time they're already written, he's just an eccentric Jack fan who makes sure his responses are professionally presented. He just wants to copy and paste, that is why he doesn't want to do live debates, because I seen his arguments on Golf Digest comment sections.

Shot clock and play clock only improves basketball and football because their game is based on time. Obviously baseball and golf are finished when 9 innings and 18 holes are completed. These sports were designed to take long. The sports were not invented to entertain the ADHD kid sitting on his Ipad, and in my opinion sports should never change to curtail to those kids. Foreplay has a bias because ratings on the PGA tour directly affect their own bottom line. If people are not watching as much golf then they are not watching/listening to foreplay. Rick Shiels signed with LIV to provide amazing content which is probably the biggest news in golf the past couple of years considering the state the sport is in, and not even a mention? You are supposed to be "the biggest golf Podcast in the world" per Riggs plus you are on the Creator Council. Or did the Council instruct you not to say anything and rather hide your head in the sand like with anything LIV? This is going to ne massive for LIV and golf in general and the PGA should have a good look in the mirror.
