I went to St. Bonaventure Monastery today and met the most precious 98 year old woman. She entered the Blessed Solanus Casey Center saying to everyone, "Peace be with you." She has dementia, but remembers that she has been visiting the monastery ever since the chapel was a little white wooden building. Her name is Margaret and she promised that we _will_ meet again. Please remember her in prayer. All I can say is that the sense of peace about her was palpable.

When I pray, usually the rosary, my focus is on tending to the shoulder wound of Christ or being present with Mary when she births our King, if I can hold Her Baby. She says…”YES”! These reflections have brought me to constant communication with Christ. I had a day recently where my feelings were hurt by someone. I offered it up to Christ and prayed that only Christ can make something good out of sorrow. He brought me to adoration and now I am an ambassador (watchman) of the chapel for one hour daily. This I offer to Christ and to my fellow people. Come to adoration! The place is LIFE CHANGING!

We would like to mention this, The meaning of & the use of beads with fringe do not truly represent “Our Lady’s Rosary”. Seeing this is very disturbing, as others have noted, also. We learned this, by looking up the “meaning”, seeing a bigger picture shows the fringe and not a crucifix, nor the decades, (something is wrong with this picture!?), perhaps someone can submit a True Catholic Rosary for using online, faithfully! Our Lady asked us to pray the Rosary, respectively, Our Lady’s Rosary🌹, not a modern day emoji which misrepresents our Blessed, Catholic Sacramental. Perhaps, 🙏🌹and ask for the Grace to know and understand the difference. Our Lady deserves the best, and Hopefully, one day, A true representation, and promoting of Our Lady’s Rosary🌹will come and Her Immaculate Heart Will Triumph, we 🙏. I know I'm not doing myself any favors by saying this, but I honestly got bored with repetitious prayer and my mind would always wander. I mean, I understand the theory of what is supposed to occur during prayer, it's just that I haven't experienced any of this but once, and even then I was feverish and it came to me in a dream when I had visited a monastery. With that said, I tend to be more interested in the mechanics of things, which is why I'm more interested in certain theologies and histories because it's (for me) much easier to grasp.

Ask your guardian angel to help you. At least your honest,tell Jesus and Mary this. I stopped saying the holy Rosary,(which I love),because I couldn’t finish it quick enough. It was a relief to get through,and realised I need to be totally/100% honest with Jesus so I told him I don’t want to say it for a while. I resumed saying one decade for a very special intention-that’s it! Ask St Pio,to help you,he never stopped saying it! God bless. Praise Jesus and Mary always!!! Ps watch Don’t call protestant’s Christian. (St Pius IX said protestant’s are NOT Christian). Then the warning or illumination of conscience by Christine Watkins.

I understand where you’re coming from but one thing to remember is that when praying prayers that repeat, the focus is not completely on the prayer itself, but the meditation. For example, when praying the Rosary, it’s a two fold amazing prayer: the vocal prayer (prayers we say externally or internally) and the mental prayer (meditation on the mysteries). If you focus on the mysteries while reverently praying the vocal prayers, it will be hard for your mind to wander. If you do catch yourself wandering, just stop, get control of your thoughts and refocus. And if you persevere through, that’s a huge victory and it pleases God because you will fight through to please him. I was away from the church for decades and now that I’m back, I’m all in. I realize that if I give up on praying I will fall back into my old ways and be on a path straight to Hell. I don’t care if I slept only 2 hours, I give all my energy to do my daily prayers, because if I don’t pray I know 100% I have no chance at all of entering Heaven. Plus keep in mind that prayer is lifting your mind and heart to God. Even if you don’t “feel it” during repetitious prayer, just start reading scripture until something hits you deep within your soul and focus on that. Focus on what the scripture is saying and how it relates to your life. Meditate on Jesus’ passion and realize that every time we sin, we put Jesus through his passion. When we break the 6th and 9th commandment, we add even more pain to Jesus during the scourging. When we sin we add even more weight to the heavy cross Jesus was carrying and add even more pain to His most Holy Shoulder, a shoulder that was cut down to the bone from all the weight of the cross. How when we sin we add to the heartbreak that Blessed Virgin Mary felt seeing her most beloved Son crucified to the cross. How her heart was broken while holding Him in her arms after he was taken down from the cross. How she was holding him and seeing him up close and seeing all the lacerations, and how she knows that He went through all this for us and people are so ungrateful and just keep sinning without even thinking of how much it hurts Him and Her. Please don’t give up on prayer. Make a resolve to start and when it gets hard, just fight through. Trust me it gets more fulfilling and it pleases God greatly, and the way this world is, we need to do all we can to please Him and make reparations.

@ianmackenzie6863 жыл бұрын
According to sola scriptura proddies, "faith alone" saves. This implies belief. If that's the case, Satan and his minions should be saved then too since they believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Prayers are acts, meaning "doing" or works. According to proddies, "works" are completely unnecessary to salvation and the mere thought of "works" involved in salvation to them is blasphemous. I feel sorry for protestants.
@catholicfemininity21263 жыл бұрын

"He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved." (Mark 16:16) Jesus tells us in no uncertain terms that to be saved one needs to be Baptized and one needs the Faith. Once you are baptised you remain baptised, now ant through eternity. The Faith needs to be kept. It is easy to lose the Faith, and most people who "lose the Faith" actually throw it away! You need to keep the Faith and you cannot keep the Faith without prayer!
@AndrewTheMandrew5313 жыл бұрын
But doesn’t that negate what Christ did for us? We don’t earn our salvation, do we?
@jerome89503 жыл бұрын
To say that "He who prays will be saved" doesn't mean that we can "earn" salvation by our human efforts. Yes, Christ died on the cross to save us. But if you don't ASK Him with faith to give you salvation (and to ASK Jesus for anything is "Prayer"), how else do you expect to be saved? Didn't scripture say that those who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13)? Or do we expect to be saved by keeping quiet and doing nothing?

Hello, thank you for this. The complementarity between mental and love is something not enough developped in christian theology. Both are neccesary, can't be saved only with love neither only by mental, the cross of the christ in upon his holy (sacred) heart, not by chance, the mental prevent you to "love" bad things or by perverted ways, you should keep the word first then love, the opposite is no sense or counter sens. "At the beginning there were the word" not the love cause you better have to love right... Satan loves himself more than the Lord then more than the Word, what a result (you better have to avoid it)... Today "lovism" is a huge heresy, on of the dangerousest heresy in history cause it is one of the most pervers. Anyway as this sermon begins real love always respect the word, when it's not love is not true ... (like in the new age for example) Be blessed.

I’m going to heaven: There is only one God who is eternally manifesting himself in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The Bible says, that we are all sinners. As it is written: There is none righteous, no not one. Romans 3:10 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6 For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23 (The word “death” in this verse speaks of spiritual death in hell.) But the cowardly, UNBELIEVING, Abominable murderers. Sexually immoral, sorcerers,idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Rev 21:8 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Isaiah 1:18 Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures and that He was buried,and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures 1Cor 15 3:8 In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:14 For by grace ye are saved; through faith and not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast EPH 2:8 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vein Galatians 2:21 If you would like to receive Jesus as your Savior. Realize that you are a hopeless sinner and trust in Jesus and only Jesus to save you. You can say a prayer expressing your gratitude, sorrow for your sins, etc. the words don’t matter, but remember your prayer DOES NOT save you. Your trust in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross is what saves you. The moment you trust in Jesus and only Jesus, you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and are saved forever.
