This man captures the audience with his siren eyes, his fluid movements and sincerity in his voice. His voice is unique and has been proven to put babies to sleep. He always puts 300% into his performances and practices until his muscles give in and the pain is unbearable - and then pushes on anyway. To truly appreciate all that Jimin is, his dance skills canNOT be left out. That is literally what got me into BTS. He creates TRULY beautiful dance lines and stories with his professionally trained and incredible skills in this area. There are SO many compilations of his dancing online, some better than others. I would encourage you to check them out so that you truly understand the magnitude of his skill in this area. There is also a video of him performing his song Filter, which is stunning. The video is from an online BTS concert during Covid so it’s not perfect, but if you can ignore the poor behind-the-scenes camera work, it’s my favorite thing he’s ever done. Of course, I said that he’s what got me into BTS…but That’s what’s so amazing about them, is that one of them draws you in and then you realize that there’s seven times MORE to love! They are ALL incredible….as I sit here listening to RM’s Indigo tonight, and waiting for Yoongi’s live streamed performance from Seoul at 4 AM my time tomorrow morning. But as much as I love them ALL, Jimin has remained my personal BTS bias. 💜 Thank you for this reaction!!

Jimin info that some aren't aware of: ❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!! So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey! JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!! JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence.
