This story is too close to home! Dr. Kinyua, Alex and Kudjo were all my good friends. I was a mentor to Alex back to Morgan State and Dr. Kinyua was my physics professor who even gave me letters of recommendation on several occasions. Bro. Kudjo always pick me up every Saturday for men's breakfast in Dr. Kinyua's church. It's unfortunate what demon took hold of Alex. He was an extremely bright boy in his first 2 years in College. He was even in the ROTC program planning on commissioning as an Officer in the US Army right after graduation. Bro. Kudjo was one of the kindest man you'll ever meet, he was a very generous fellow. And Dr. Kinyua was an extremely smart scientist, a rare gem brain from Kenya, always open to help any African student struggling academically or financially even though he was not affluent himself...it was a really sad day, 11 years ago!!!

There is more going on in that family, that is not been released. This is so cruel, so wrong, so shocking from a Kenyan boy who lives in the United States. Guy came to the states , using all he’s got and then some, to be rejected by the state and then eaten up by a brother, who was created useless, and has now taken a precious life. He has tasted human blood, and there’s no going back. This guy would not have lasted 2 weeks in jail, they would have knifed him, before he even ate one. A mental institution in America is like a prison but with some comfort. The patients are treated and monitored. It is always on lock down. There is no way for him to escape. The only fear is that he might hurt the workers there or even fellow patients. Or like you said he might be released in future for whatever reason and the community may not be aware.
