You guys should stick to one bet amount for much longer at a time. Whether it’s high max bets or whatever it is. The higher bets are going to be better for you, if you can sustain the losses it will take to get to the big win. The lower bets will be better if you can’t sustain the big losses that it will take to hit. You aren’t tricking the machine. They pay at a predetermined rate on average, over their lifetime. The only way to very slightly increase your pay back odds, is increasing the bet amount. But even still, it’s going to be a minimal difference over the course of time. Usually you’ll get a hit in the first half to put you right at or just below your starting point. So if it goes down to half of the starting point again, cash out and play a different machine. But the changing the bet amount doesn’t help you. Play the highest bet amounts that you can consistently play over the long game. The long game at one value is where your best chances are. High bets when you can’t afford to play that way all day, is how a casino ends up costing you your house. And there is no such thing as recalibrating a slot machine, unless you’re opening it up, hooking a computer to it, and reprogramming the thing. Which you aren’t. If there was a way that people could trick the machine into paying more than it’s supposed to pay, the casinos would have that machine tossed in their dumpster behind the building.
