#ASMR Barber. It seems you like the services. I am a big fan of your work. However the stone is Pottasium Alum. It was widely used in India a decade ago however it has now stopped because barbers used it to stop blood after a shave and it resulted in transmission of HIV unknowingly. Be safe, careful and Aware.

Fyi for anyone thinking of shaving with a single blade razor...you shave downward for face and upward for neck. Grain grows towards the jawline.

It's a form of Alum and it is a vasoconstriction agent that stops bleeding from all those little cuts. A common version for home use is a "styptic pencil" for razor nicks.
