I want everyone here to pay attention to see if there is a guy or 2 in front of the net! We lost because we had 0 people in front and we got no good chances because of that. So I truly want you all to focus on that and if it the same then don’t expect us to win games. Idk why these players have an issue screening a goalie when most players can easily do it.

Just like he mentioned. There is a fine line of giving up more than you get. Parking 2 guys deep in front of the net means you have 2 less guys to trap/clog the neutral zone on the way back if you miss. Having too many players deep just doesn't go with the 1-3-1 system the LA kings deploy. I would love to see LA change their system. It would make for more entertaining hockey. I don't see them doing that in the playoffs though.

No news of bringing up Clarke, Thomas, or any true playmakers that we have in the lower level. Englund couldn’t keep the puck in the blue line on multiple occasions on Sunday. Clarke could fix that (he could also drastically fix our putrid power play). No guys getting dirty in front of the net. Thomas can do that, and he’s proven he can score and be a difference maker on offense at the NHL level. Trevor Lewis hasn’t done anything for us this season, and he’s played all 82 games. The upper management of this team is going to find out fairly quickly how outdated their system is, unless somehow the players can turn this around on their own.
